Milgard Window Glass Replacement Milgard replaced two panes of scratched Low-E3 glass in my new residential window replacement project. We had purchased 32 new Milgard Low-E3 windows for our home. The Milgard technician arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the replacements within one hour. He cleaned the new glass sections after installation. There were no debris or clean-up necessary. I appreciate Milgard's attention to detail and their warranty provisions. September 9, 2014
Window Repair, great service Everyone was very helpful to get a window replaced. Only downside is that they only travel to the area once a month, so if it had been an emergency, I would have concerns. Technician was very nice and got the window replaced quickly. September 9, 2014
Great Job by the Service Tech When the service tech arrived he discovered the part of the window was not broken just not fitting correctly. However, he did replace the part anyway and made some small modifications to the part do it functioned as advertised. Plus he was early which was good. great job. September 9, 2014
Job well done! We found the Milgard experience very satisfactory. The warranty folks were pleasant and responsive and immediately set up a time to resolve the problem with one of the windows. The service technician was very professional, knew exactly what needed to be done and did it. He has been doing his job for almost 20 years and made the repair look easy. This service was to my full satisfaction. Milgard service was very responsive and satisfactory. Milgard resolved issues with the French door by replacing the door and accessories. Multiple Window & Door Replacements After 10+ years, we have had one window replaced 5 times, this last time both sides. This one window leaked the first two times and the last time the replacements had scratches. Another window was replaced one time and a sliding door replaced once - all for no additional cost. This is a great saver of my $$ since I was the original purchaser. September 8, 2014

Tech called one hour in advance of scheduled time - Tech called one hour in advance of scheduled time - was polite and professional on phone. I was not able to return home to meet the tech but approved that a family member provide access. I returned home after the Tech left and realized that caulk shavings around wind frame and floor were not cleaned up. I would give Milgard home warranty service a 10 out of 10! Our service person was completly professional, knowledgeable and customer friendly right from the moment he introduced himself and put on shoe coverings. This is the second time we have contacted Milgard for help,with our windows and both times the service was a 10. They hire the right people and train them well in customer service. Thorough and professional The service tech inspected every window, not just the ones that we indicated needed servicing He was able to replace a number of older 'balances' that were causing some windows to be hard to close, replace a window that had lost its seal, fix or replace some locks that were loose and sprayed all windows to make them slide easier. When he was done, all windows were operable and easy to open and close. This was a person who cared about giving excellent customer service. September 6, 2014

Melissa did a good job and made good her sch. date and time to repair. Service person also was promt and did the best he could due to the fact Milgard To Complete, as I stated above. regarding Mellissa, she Stood by her word as to the date and time of repairs. The repair person also was very nice and did what he could. Due to the fact Milgard did not stand by their written warranty that said all Milgard DOORS and windows would be a life time warranty and even though the written Warranty did not give any stipulations what it would not take care of we assumed our bad order door would be taken care of. Your service man did the only thing he was told that he could due. (Glue the bottom piece that fell off for some unknown reason). Both my wife and I as we told the service man we had no Idea how this happened. Of course he had his reason also. With all of my above comments I would agree if just gluing this defect and it hold up for at least 5 years, will be OK by my Wife and me. If not other actions should be done. (Replace the door). Thank you in advance for letting me document in writing. I'm sure you will meet on this. All I ask is do what's right and fair. Final question: What would you do if this happened to you????? They stand behind their products. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Milgard Windows. I bought a house about a year ago. Some time later, I noticed that the windows were looking cloudy and hired someone to clean them. He told me that the problem was between the two panes (failed seals) and cleaning wouldn't fix this. He also told me that Mildgard Windows have a warranty, and I should contact them.. I went to the website, and sent an e-mail. A few weeks later they sent someone out to inspect the windows with broken seals and measure them for replacement. A few weeks after that, I had five new windows installed. No muss, no fuss, no questions about whether the warranty was good since I was not the one who had purchased the windows in the first place. This is customer service! September 4, 2014
As always, Milgard comes through! I installed Milgard windows in 1993, and have had to have several windows replaced. Today, I thought I was going to need a new door latch installed on a sliding door, but it turned out the rollers just needed to be adjusted and a little WD40 to smooth the way. Whenever I call, I always say to my self, "why did you wait so long to call?" Milgard always upholds its guarantee! September 4, 2014
