went as expected this is the 3rd time I have had service from your folks for service on our windows. We have some 20 plus windows that are installed in a very hostile weather environment and they have performed well beyond our expectations. Very professional, and pleased with the service I would say over-all excellent. We did have to wait over a month prior to the schedule working out, as it needed to be on the one day a week I have off, but would have been nice to not have to wait so long. I tried to look at that as company is very busy based on excellent outcomes, so worth the wait. They were also great regarding honoring life-time guarantee, so there was no charge. Thank You! Quick response Milgard responding very quickly to correct problems with the new French doors that would not close properly. Because the doors would not lock, Milgard authotized an emergency service call and the technician arrived within two hours of the call. September 18, 2013
Terrible Service Milgard guarantees there windows yet when a window fails it takes months of delays before anything is fixed. I am still waiting for a window to be fixed after nearly a year of delays September 18, 2013

Very responsive and knowledgeable Contractor put in French Door but locking mechanism didn't seem to function. COntractor received written directions from the retailer and still we had locking issues. Milgard Customer Service responded quickly to resolve the problem by sending a tech who discovered that I needed some more instruction on how to lock it. After that it was a breeze and he didn't make me feel guilty about calling. The new French door looks and performs beautifully...and so do the owners!!! September 18, 2013

Excellent "delayed" follow up after multiple efforts to solve issue. Tanya in Service Dept. is great once you actually get a hold of Service for assistance. Very courteous and understanding. Went above and beyond. Prior to that, everything was a "train wreck" trying to get my window issues resolved. One issue remains and I simply don't know if they'll come through. September 18, 2013
As usual the service was excellent. I am lucky that my house has Milgard windows! The technicians arrived on time and fixed all the problems with my sliding glass door! Took a little time, but worth waiting for! I had a minor problem with sliders in my home. One was over a decade old and the other was over 5 years old, so getting the parts I needed took a little time. I fully expected to have the parts arrive in the mail with me installing them, but much to my surprise, Steve, a very personable young man arrived earlier than scheduled and was very efficient in completing the job! Service was great. We have had milgard windows in our home going on 23 years. In that time we have only needed repairs twice. I was slow in responding to emails about this service call and the person at milgard was patient and consistent in her communications which I really gets busy at times! My husband said the repairman that came was really nice and quick. I can't say a negative thing about your products or service. I am thinking of putting in a french door in the future and it will defiantly be a milgard product! LisaP September 18, 2013

8 failed windows in an 8 year old house, no longer on warranty? We have 8, pitted, discolored windows in our $1.2 million, 8 year old home. This home has had minimal wear and looks newly built. The windows have been discolored, (between the panes), for at least 4 years now, but we attributed the problem to condensation and thought it would clear up. Well, it hasn't. Called Milgard to get use our lifetime warranty coverage only to find out that we were only covered for 5 years. News to me. I ask you, why would 8 windows need to be replaced in only 8 years on such a high-end construction home? So mad that I have to replace them myself. Watch your warranties here, friends. Sliding Glass Door Repair When our door became a little difficult to open I decided to give Milgard a call. The Service Rep was extremely professional, followed-up with a telephone call and email reminder of the appointment date we agreed upon. Two days before the appointment the Milgard Service Rep contacted me to provide a two hour window for the service appointment, between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. The Service Tech arrived at 12:05pm, inspected the door and told me exactly which parts would be ordered. The appointment was re-set and the process of communications began again. The Milgard Service Rep was with us every step of the way. They manufacture great windows and door, and they provide wonderful customer service. Would we use them again? Absolutely!!! Excellent Experience We waited a long time (years) to replace our window because we thought it would be a hassle (and probably expensive); we couldn't have been more wrong. A couple of phone calls to confirm size, design, etc and our service date was set. An email with the picture of the service rep was sent with a two hour window for date/time. He came on time, was here less than 15 minutes and was on his way. He did an excellent job and we now have a beautiful new window! Wish we hadn't waited so long. September 17, 2013

Original Owners = No Cost After they installed the windows and left, I had trouble opening and locking two of the windows. Luckily they were still outside the house and I called them back to look at the windows. They had to take out two sliding windows and fix them outside. They were put back and then worked fine. They seemed a little rushed. September 17, 2013
