French Door Adjustment Sergey, Service Tech, was spot on in keeping with the scheduled arrival time. His knowledge and tools for adjusting our French doors was exactly what was needed. He was even able to reduce the bowing up of the threshold on our unit thereby retaining a good weather seal on all sides of the doors. The doors now close quietly and latch/lock as they should. We are very pleased with the Milgard products installed in our home and especially pleased with the warranty service provided by both Sergey and Alison, the service coordinator. Much appreciated. I could not have been more pleased with the customer service I received at all levels. The servide manager I worked with to replace a window due to a faulty seal could not have been more responsive. She always responded promptly to both email and voice mail and colnsitetnly followed up. THe service technicians that were involved were polite, well trained and expereincedin their jobs. Smooth and simple. We knew something was wrong with one of the windows in our bathroom, but we weren't sure what it was. It had become hazy, and it was obviously something happening between the panes. I filed a report online at, uploading a couple of photographs to illustrate the problem. Within days I had a response and a scheduled date for replacement of that window. The technician (whose name and photo had been sent to me in advance--a nice touch) showed up right on time and had the window replaced in under 20 minutes. It is so gratifying to see a warrantee honored. We'll always choose Milgard in the future. (We're patting ourselves on the backs for having ordered Milgard patio doors just last month!) Thank you! Wow! They really stand behind their lifetime warranty! I had two sets Milgard sliding doors installed in 1998. On both, the locking levers had broken. These doors are used frequently throughout the day. I called on a window/door company who wanted a load of money to replace the locks. I thought I'd call Milgard just to see if they were covered without going through a bunch of hassles. They covered the locks with no questions asked! The warranty representative was fantastic! The service technician was on time and quick! I'm now a BIG fan of Milgard products! They really do stand behind their lifetime warranty! Thank you Milgard!!! October 19, 2013
Your service has always been great. I really appreciate the service people in our area. They have always treated me with respect and their workmanship has always been very professional. It took a couple of weeks to get the initial response to our problem and then a couple more weeks before it was repaired. That was the only negative. October 19, 2013
Excellent service and very professional. Over a ten year period, this is the second time I had to have windows replaced. That may seem like a negative but a Milgard Technician came out, looked at the windows and had them replaced without any hassling. Terrible service A totally unpleasant experience from beginning to end. I had to make numerous calls in order to get a return call. I felt like the service techs had no desire to help. I would not recommend Milgard windows to anyone. October 18, 2013

Service was excellent, service tech completed work promptly. The sliding mechanism / spring on one of our single hung windows broke, and upon arrival, the tech knew exactly what to do, and had it repaired within 20 minutes. The window now slides open & closed better than when it was brand new when it was installed. October 18, 2013

Still excellent service 20 years later,after experiencing excellent service from Milgard with my new construction project, I chose them when purchasing retrofit windows for my new (old) home. Once again, a small problem arose, but they were just as responsive and professional as they were before. I will continue to buy their quality products and recommend them to my friends. I was extremely pleased with all my interactions with Milgard staff. Tanya was a great representative of the Corporation. From my first contact to report my problems with the product to the completion of remedy I was pleased with Milgard's response. The service rep was prompt to act and secure me a repair date that was convenient to us. The technician who did the in-home repair was polite and efficient and completed the work in a professional manner. I would have given it 1 star, but I hit it accidently. It took over 2 weeks to get an appointment. First I called and left a message on voice mail, I received no reply. Then I thought maybe it would work better if I went on your web site. It is a very bad site, I will never use it again! I waited over a week again no reply, so I called again and finely got an appointment. The guys who fixed my windows I would rate high. They seemed efficient and nice. I don't know if it took so long because I was a warranty customer, but I was not at all happy! October 18, 2013

The best service experience! This is my first experience with Milgard windows. Every aspect of service from the initial phone call to the replacement of my windows was outstanding. Everyone was knowledgeable about the products and so helpful. I was impressed with the confirmation appointment email which included a picture of the service technician. Prompt service The collapsible handle on one of our windows needed to be replaced. Milgard promptly sent us a replacement. Actually, they sent us five of them, in case in the future the problem might come up again. We call this good service! October 17, 2013
Excellent Response! From phone contact to service techs, response was professional and efficient. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until the rains return to determine how the new skylights perform. My expectation is positive at this point. Confusing at best I had a hard time trying to figure out how to submit a service request. The voice mail of the local Milgard service rep said that I could file a service request online. I finally figured out where it was buried in the maze of menus. After I filed the request, it seemed to take weeks to get a response, even though I placed several subseqent calls to the service phone number. Once the appointment was scheduled, everything went smoothly including the installation. However, after everything was scheduled, I got an emial asking that i again describe the problem and give my address. I ignored that email since it was superfluous. October 17, 2013
