When a problem arose with one of them eleven years after our original purchase, they stood behind their guarantee. Their was no questioning as to the nature of the problem. Service was excellent and very prompt. I appreciate them coming out quickly to repair my window. My window would not open and I called Milgard. I appreciate the life time warranty. The service technician came out to the house within 3 days of my call and repaired the window in 10 minutes. I appreciated them rushing the service so I could open my windows during the hot summer. We are happy customers! The tech replaced the window that had fogged very quickly and cleanly. We had a new Milgard patio door installed that morning and I had a couple of questions that hadn't come up during installation..the tech answered them satisfactorily. Couldn't have been easier! We had one of our sliding glass doors start to get foggy. It is mostly noticeable in the winder when it is damp. During the summer time it is barely visible. I called Milgard in the summertime. The rep quickly inspected the window and told us we would get a call about replacement times and dates. He was in the home for less than 10 minutes. 3 weeks later the technicians arrived and replaced the window in less than 1/2 hour. Just in and out. I could not have been easier. Rich August 21, 2013
Excellent Experience This was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. It took no time at all to submit t warranty claim to get the glass in my sliding door replaced. When I called initially I figured I would need to fight with a rep in order to get Milgard to stand behind their product guarantee, but that was not the case. In fact it was more of an information gathering session than anything else, as the rep's main concern was to get the right size replacement glass ordered. In any event, the day of the appointment the technician, Shawn, rang the doorbell at exactly 8 am. This to me was amazing because it was the very start of the range I was provided for the appointment, which was between 8 am and 10 am. Most other companies I've dealt with have either shown up at the end of the range, after it, or not at all. Shawn was very nice, professional, and fast!! He carried on a good conversation with me as he worked and from start to finish, the job only took him 20 minutes to complete. In my brief dealings with Milgard, it was very easy to see why they've been in business a long time and will continue to be. For any of my future window and door needs I will look to Milgard first because I know I will be in good hands should anything unexpected go wrong with their product. Thanks for everything. JOB WELL DONE The windows in my home were installed over 15 years ago. The one slider was having trouble sliding on the track. One phone call, a few days wait and the techs showed up and replaced the entire sill assembly with the newly designed sill. Slide's better then new with not a penny spent. They were in and out in under an hour, where well dressed, clean neat, and truly professionals. Since I have no plan on ever selling this home, Milgard was the best value up grade that I will not have to worry about, EVER... August 20, 2013

Terrific service and product! We put our Milgard windows in 13 years ago and just recently one of the windows leaked gas spots into the inside between the glass. I had the original invoice but no receipt and the company that originally installed the windows went out of business. I called Milgard and they found thre record of my purchase within minutes and arranged for someone to come out and replace the window. The repair man came on time, was very professional and installed the new window in no time. What a greeat company! August 20, 2013

Disappointed with the warranty The service staff were very friendly and helpful, however I was very disappointed to hear that the Milgard warranty only applies to the original owner. This is not really a product warranty then. Given that many homeowners in the PNW move multiple times in their lifetime, it seems like the warranty is really 3-5 years rather than "lifetime" as indicated. If the warranty is on the product, it should not matter who owns it. August 20, 2013
Once the correct replacement glass was obtained the service is great. I originally gave the dimensions of the two windows and one door which needed to have their defective glass replaced to the person at Customer Service, but the wrong size glass both for the windows, and the door was sent. Had to wait another three weeks to have the glass finally replaced. August 20, 2013

excellent warranty srvice We must have more than 60 panes in our house with lifetime warranty installed at build in 2006. The patio door developed some iridescence a couple of years ago and they came right out and replaced it no questions asked. We have just had another couple of panes developing problems with the coating on the inside - I called up described the problems, and scheduled for the first available visit - a little over a week out - the installer came at the scheduled time and popped them both out and replaced them.
