Slow start but wound up doing a great job. I initially called the headquarters location, was forwarded to a voicemail, I also sent an email and never heard back. A couple of says later I called the local office in Simi Valley. Maryann was extremely helpful and we got everything set. When the service person came he completed the work on the 3 and half windows in less than 20 minutes. All seem to be working fine. I was amazed how fast he got it done. Despite some initial concerns over the process. They did an outstanding job once I got connected to a live person. May 15, 2013
Couldn't have asked for a better experience We are selling our house and the inspector noticed a blown seal in a window. I called Milgard and they sent someone out to replace it free of charge. Wonderful! May 15, 2013

I could not ask for any better courteous or professional service. From the first phone call to report our problem, to the rapid response to set up the date and time to replace the problem windows, thru to the actual new window replacement, everyone involved was a pleasure to work with. Great service, now let's see how long the windows last The entire team was very professional in dealing with replacing my windows, which had clouded over due to (I was told) the glue decaying. Everyone was great. I'm a bit concerned hearing that it's likely to happen again, however. I haven't had this problem with other dual pane windows made by other manufacturers. But if the Milgard ones need replacing again, I know the service will be excellent. May 14, 2013

Excellent Service! I spent a lot of time looking for my original receipt when I discovered a problem with one of my windows. I couldn't find it so I called the company that installed the windows. They said they didn't keep records back to 8 years ago. I called Milgard anyway thinking I would get a run-around since I couldn't prove I was the original owner. To my surprise, they had all of my information already on file! I don't recall ever contacting them. Apparently the installer sent them all the information. I was pleasantly surprised when almost immediately, I was told they would take care of it. Email communication was great - I knew exactly when to expect someone to check it out. They were right there within the time frame. They came in, measured, and were gone in a flash. I was then contacted again to schedule an installation date. Leo arrived right on time. He quickly removed the window and explained to me what he was doing as he did it. The new window was in place within minutes. He explained to me about the little "wire" that was used to keep moisture from building up in the windows. He also showed me how to identify my windows by pointing out a serial number in the window and told me that all of my window have the same number and that Milgard knew exactly which windows were installed in the house and where they were installed. I was surprised that a company keeps such specific records! My cat has destroyed the lower part of my screen door and Leo told me about a new type of screen that was made for pets - that the cat cannot rip it up. I had no idea there was such a product. He is a VERY helpful and knowledgeable person. I learned a lot about my windows today! I wish other companies had this kind of service. It was nice not having to jump through hoops to get my window replaced. I will always recommend Milgard products. Both the products and the service are awesome! May 13, 2013

Best Window Warranty Service! This is my second home with Milgard windows. I chose Milgard because of the great no hassle warranty service received on a window at my first home. This time, two very large upper windows on the front of my new home lost their vapor seal after just a couple years and had to be replaced. MIlgard was right on top of getting the service techs out to measure the windows. We had to wait a few months for the actual replacement due to the snowy weather, but now they are in and performing beautifully. The techs were very professional and conscientious of my home - taking great care during this tricky install. I highly recommend Milgard windows for their looks, performance, value and warranty. It was great! We had a window that had failed after 10 years. I got the service number from the window and sent in an online request. I got a phone call, and it was quickly acknowledged that there was a problem and we arranged a time for replacement. They sent a 2-hour window a few days in advance, as promised. The technician actually showed up early, which turned out to be convenient. We very quickly removed and replaced the window (literally about 15 minutes), and was done. All repair situations should be as smooth as this. It was great. I have a lot of Milgard windows, and while I hope none will fail, it is good to know they respond so well. May 11, 2013
Fantastic follow through! We bought our home new 14 years ago. When the seal in my bathroom window failed I sent an email to Milgard. Within 24 hours I received a phone call and scheduled an appointment to have the glass replaced. The service rep was early to the appointment and did the work quickly and professionally. After looking at the window on the inside, he worked from the outside. The work was done in about a half an hour. Milgard provides a lifetime warranty that really lasts for a lifetime! May 11, 2013
prompt and consistant service I have had window failures twice in the eleven years that I have owned the windows. Both times I requested someone come out and check out the problems and I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff at all levels. Eash times I have required replacements of multiple windows. At no time did I feel uncomfortable for asking questions. Milguard worked with me to develop convenient visit times. When the installers showed up they were very clean, friendly and worked quickly. I was surpirsed to experience such genuine professionalism of all the Milgard personnel I delt with. These days you meet quite often with indifference and a lack of a positive acceptance of your problem when calling for service. Being basically a skeptic, I expected difficulty in having my clouded patio door fixed. I was wrong. Terrific technician, issue is with product--double-hung windows don't lock easily. Have had ongoing problem with the lock feature on double hung windows. Difficult to shut/lock bottom window without top window dropping down. You have to slam it just right. Hard to finesse. The service technician was terrific. Company provided a second set of bottom windows to try to fix the problem. I just hope they continue to work. May 10, 2013
