We love the lifetime guarantee. Quality of service was very good. Timing, however, was not. The initial service person came, checked the window(s) to be replaced (in fact it was he who found three failed windows we were unaware of). The replacement date was made via email. I waited at home during the scheduled 1 - 3 p.m. time slot (missing two events of my own during that time). The installer called at approximately 3:45 to say he was running late, arrived at 4:30, and took care of replacing the windows. He and I had to hunt for the 3 I had been unaware of, however, as they were not marked (with a red dot, as he expected), and I had not been in on the initial walk-through. My only real objection, and I understand sometimes this sort of delay happens, is that I was not informed of the behind-schedule arrival until quite a while after the end of the specified time. Very professional I spoke with a female, I believe her name was Sheila, and she was courteous, professional and very pleasant on the phone. She explained that my initial e-mail apparently had not been received, but continued on to handle my repair issue. Since we just purchased this 8 yr. old home this year, she agreed to ship, as a courtesy, several replacement balance units and window clips. She is one of the nicest, most professional and knowledgeable customer service representatives I've ever encountered. I am grateful to be able to write a positive review on this person. June 24, 2013
A lot of double doors and wings to align...made progress but still uneven gaps. We had 19 doors put in. Many are doubles with wings. It was very difficult to equalize the gaps at the top of these elements. They are okay but still uneven for several of the doors. June 24, 2013

Milgard provides excellent service and backs up their guarantee! We had Milgard windows installed 10 years ago and one seal recently failed. The Milgard customer service representative was great, had us read her the window serial # and arranged for the technician to have the new glass in his truck so it could be replaced in one visit at no charge. We need more customer service departments like Milgard Very professional, quick, neat, and knowledgeable, service reps. Installation was "painless". Installer was here when scheduled, removed the old window and replaced with a new one in about 30 minutes. Very neat, cleaned up when finished and answered all our questions. The service was prompt and my issure was resolved immediately I sent an email and received a phone call the next day. The technician had a resolution for me to try immediately. He was 100% correct and my door slides perfectly. Customer Service is ALIVE with Milgard! I moved into a newly built home where Milgard windows and a sliding glass door were installed. Our slider was tough to open and close so I asked for someone to come look at it. As it turned out the track was installed incorrectly by the builder. Our technician replaced the track and it works easily and smoothly. When I asked about a missing lock, he offered to get one to put on! Awesome service We had 4 windows with broken seals. The 2 young men from Reno that came out to measure the windows and then came back out a couple of weeks later to replace the windows were polite and profession. They did an awesome job. They were prompt and expedient. June 20, 2013

No one comes back here this late. These guys showed up after I had given up. 5:30 pm and I live on the far side of the Indian Reservation.No one comes back here this late. The two guys that showed up to resolve my problem had been on the road since 6:30 am. Their earliest they could have got home would have been 9:30 pm. They left here after 7:30 pm and its a two hour drive back to Temecula. Thats a 15 hour day! For a customer service rep? Milgard should reward these guys with a heck of a lot more than just pay. Even after they had been fixing peoples windows all day there was no hint of the fatigue they must have had. I offered them water or juice, even dinner when it became so late, they still showed professionalism in continuing to fix and resolve even the smallest of issues I had with two of my windows. These windows are truly a component product as these two repairmen were able to take care of everything. Well done gentleman,, well done! June 20, 2013
