I requested a replacement window part for my 20 year old window online. I do appreciate the prompt response to my online request about a service part that I purchaed through a third party over 20 years ago. Although Milgrad offers life time warranty on its products, I do not get any replacement part on my old window because the product has been obsolete for a while, but I do like the quick respose in its Sales dealer network and Insider Service Depatment. Service was excellent. The entire process of replacing my windows was very easy. The Milgard representative was very helpful in identifying the ordering numbers on my current windows and provided the scheduled service necessary for the replacement in a timely fashion. The service technician was prompt and professional, completing the process. I was extremely satisfied with the responsiveness of Milgard and would certainly recommend them to any prospective builder. Great job Milgard!!!!!!!!!! We had Milgard windows in a previous home on the mainland. We specifically used Milgard windows in our home on Kauai because of the quality of construction, ease of use and the incredible product warranty. I would also like to say that our experience with the Hawaii representative, Jeff and the installation technician, Dave was over and above anything we could have expected. Second time a charm?? The first time the rep came out to replace the window, he had the wrong size. He had been out earlier to measure, so I feel it should have been right. Had to reschedule, take another day off work for him to come back. Second time he came out and replaced the window. He was prompt and professional. August 12, 2013

Repairman did not know what needed to be replaced, didn't have replacement part. No repair was done. I called late July and told the lady on the phone that the outside latch where you hold to open or shut the sliding glass door was broken. Two weeks later a repairman came and did not know what the problem was. I showed him and he thought he might have that part in his truck. No luck, so he told me he would order the part, have it sent to me and that I would have to replace it. When I called and stated the problem, I thought they would order the part so the repairman would have it. Now I have to wait for a Fedex truck to bring the part, which I would give odds it will be wrong. If it does arrive and at my age (80) I will be able to replace it, I will write my own review as to how good I did with the new part. August 11, 2013

Other than the fact that appointments to replace our skylight were booked out a month, the people at Milgard were refreshing. In and out of our home fast. Very intelligent and professional men worked quickly, quietly and cleanly. They were on time. They contacted me when they were on their way. Minimal paperwork. Polite, easy to access folks on the phone. No questions asked about the warranty. Perfect installation. I wish other corporations would learn from your wisdom...that customer loyalty is the key to better business...that we all win when "the Man" puts aside productivity and profit to make sure the customer has a great experience. When they said the wndows were guaranteed we never thought we would need to use that...but we did and Milgard jumped in and replaced a winoow that needed help. The two fellows who came to replace the window, Vladimir and Sergio, were so kind to my husband (who has a disability) and so quick at their job that my husband can't say enough good about the experience. Service tech was great! Service rep was so so! It took 3 phone calls to contact my service rep. The first 2 I left messages without a call back. The 3rd time I reached my rep. but she didn't seem too eager to address my problem. She did schedule a service appointment at about 3 weeks out. A little too long if you ask me. The service tech was great and on time. He had our problem fixed within minutes, 7 to be exact, and was on his way. Overall a good experience but it left room for improvement. Jeff August 9, 2013
Excellent in home service. I had to call twice to get someone to respond to my initial call. However, once contact was made, the arrangement for the service call and the service call was excellent. Forgot to bring all parts We had requested that screen bolts be delivered and they were not. This caused an inconvenience to our tenants who have already waited 3 weeks for their screens to be installed. August 9, 2013
Milgard comes through again The customer service representative on the phone was excellent and once she had the address, was able to access the original order for the house, which made the process simple, as I had several windows to replace. A simple height and width measurement while she was on the phone saved a lot of time. The appointment process was straightforward and, because they had a cancellation after the appointment was made, they called to see if we could accommodate the opportunity (which we could). The verified the appointment by e-mail and several days before the appointment, sent a reminder, along with the name and picture of the lead technician. The technicians arrived within the appointment time slot and efficiently and quickly replaced the windows and cleaned up. This is a really great company and we highly recommend their product and service. August 9, 2013
