Milgard Windows and the service behind them is a great value! I have had several windows break due to cold weather and exposure to heat from the sun. They were replaed each time as an accomodation. Poor Services I have had great customer services in the pasts when my windows were under warranty & rails had to be replaced. My current issues is a broken window panel. I placed the order without incident but when the tech arrived to install the panel pattern was incorrect. The 2nd order was also incorrect with the same pattern?! I am still awaiting install of the correct pattern. I also find the window rails become inoperative frequently as I have had to had 4-5 replaced since I purchased my brand new home. June 18, 2013

Expedient service repair! Milgard's replacement of a 24 year old window pane (that had lost its seal after all these years but was still under warranty as we are the original homeowners) was very prompt and professional. They arrived during the time frame that they had stated and it was replaced in a matter of minutes. We have 32 Milgard windows in our home, so it failing after this amount of time says a lot about the quality of their products. They last and they stand behind their warranty! About the only thing that we could take issue with would be that the contruction of the replacement window had changed from the original due to design changes over the years. I guess that we have to get used to looking at the difference when I wash the windows every so often or when looking through them from our back porch seating area as two large, identical windows sit side by side. The replacement window lacks a 3/4" metal band edge surround between the panes of glass. June 18, 2013

I couldn't be happier I've owned Milgard windows in my home for a little over 10 years. During the last year or so, several out of many, began to get water vapor between the two panes of glass. I called Milgard to see what I could do about it and they responded immediately setting up an appointment to resolve the issue. In just three weeks, I had new windows to replace the old failed ones. Yes, their lifetime warranty really is valid. I am ecstatic. I'm getting ready to build a second home and I had been considering another manufacturer for windows. After this experience with Milgard, however, I wouldn't consider putting anything else but Milgard windows in my home. Thanks Milgard. June 18, 2013

This service was reliable and well done. Though I am 1000 miles away from the property I own where work was done, both the service rep and the technician were willing to accommodate my schedule, as well as make themselves available to me and our realtor. My cell phone number was taken and I was called when the technician arrived. I merely phoned our realtor to come open our home and the technician did his work perfectly(according to our realtor)after having been admitted. I am so pleased. Warranty issue resolved, with no hassles I couldn't be happier with the warranty work. One of the glass panels was discolored and needed to be replaced. I contacted Milgard, a service rep got back to me the next day. I gave him the coded serial number and a service tech came out and replaced the window. It looks beautiful again, no hassle. Exceeding Expectations Problems happen....a true professional rises to the occasion. Our service call turned into two calls. The first technician came with a window that dd not match the opening. He took the time to secure the safety of the site before leaving and promptly communicated with office to reorder and reschedule. Service has been good. I have had Milgard out to the house to fix windows that wouldn't stay open and also a window that had gotten moisture between the panes. The workmen were great and quick. They showed up within the time frame specified. It takes a while from the time you call to the time the fix happens, but it happens. June 17, 2013

Still the best window warranty I replaced every window in my house in Spring of '06. The lifetime warranty is what drove me to buy from Millgard. Every window in the house has performed extremely well with the exception of the VERY large 4'x8' windows in my great room. They have southern exposure and take a LOT of sun and wind; after 5-6 years, the seals finally gave out and I had a lot of moisture problems. Millgard replaced them. I can't say enough good things about a company that stands by it's products as well as Millgard. Thanks for making my renovation choice one of the best I've ever made! June 17, 2013

They did everything they said they'd do! Quality customer service these day is the exception, rather than the rule. With Milgard, it seems to be the rule. This is the 2nd time in 8 yrs. they've replaced a window for us. They called when they said they'd call, came when they said they'd be here, and were quick and neat. Only one downside--we had to wait a month for an appointment. Otherwise, all is good! June 15, 2013

Customer Service.... Top Notch!! My mom and dad had a window issue (broken seal) and when I contacted the customer service dept. they were nothing short of professional!! They resolved my parent's issue and replaced the entire window. I can't speak enough of how impressed I am.
