Cracked Window Replaced, Seals on 3 other Windows I had the glass of a large stationary window replaced. The window had lots of interpane condensation then cracked. It was not deemed to be covered by warranty. The price to replace was approximately 1/2 of the original cost of the entire window. The service was professional; though there was a 1 month wait to have the work done. In addition, I had 3 seals replaced on 3 windows in an effort to eliminate some dirt, and bugs that have been getting in. New seals did not solve the problem entirely, but may have helped. Service was great-question quality control of product Service Tech fixed the problem promptly, however I went about two months without locks on the window before he got scheduled. I don't see how a problem this evident escaped your mfg process! March 9, 2013

Warranty Replacement Everyone was great! Nice to have email keeping me in the loop between phone calls! And the guys who came out were great!. They were nice, polite and got my window changed out quickly! This was not a easy thing I am sure as it was a 5 foot round window which is located on the second story of the house. I will add they also had a pad to put their tools on, and also made sure the new window was clean on both sides after install. We are very happy with our Milgard windows! Lifetime Warranty-it's real; customer service exceptional I suspect that my twin boys, occupying two different rooms, each with double pane windows operated with cranks, have something to do with the crank mechanism failures in all four windows, but they did fail after some maybe 3 or 4 years of usage. When I called Customer Service, the representative, Tara, was extremely helpful and without any further questioning why and what, etc, she just asked me if I could send her a picture of the mechanism, which I did. I got all the parts in 2 days!!! Replacement was very easy. I, being a DIYer, did it in approximately 15minutes per window. I can not imagine a better service and warranty policy. I would recommend Milgard Windows to anybody. You don't get that kind of Customer Service and warranty promise often anymore. Great service techs The guys who came out to the house were great. They were very friendly, courteous and helpful. We had an issue with one of the replacement windows and they thoroughly explained the situation and the procedure to remedy the issue. They also gave advice on a slider which our dog had scratched. I have zero complaints about Milgard service!!! I don't know what is reasonable to expect from products. Our Milgard products are 9 or 10 years old. We have just had our 2nd and 3rd crank out windows replaced for moisture between the panes The first was replaced last summer/fall for the same concern. A problem that has never been resolved is the locks on sliding windows that catch when the window is closed and pulls a portion of the framing of the window loose. As a consequence we have removed the locks and use a 2x2 in the guide for security. We have asked techs about the problem when they were repairing other problems (not this time) but didn't get much of a response. I don't need service for this problem. I just want Milgard to know. I'd give Milgard an "8" for product. Thank you. March 8, 2013
Service and installer were both excellent. Installer arrived early and did an outstanding job of removing a large window and installing a new one. He was pleasant and efficient. He even washed the newly installed window. It is a pleasure to do business with a company such as yours. March 8, 2013

They were great in correcting the issues we had This was a great service and they have always been very responsive when we have discovered a problem with our windows. We even had a mistake on ordering the glass and this was corrected in a timely manner. Thank you! March 8, 2013
Good but somewhat disappointing. The inside lever on our sliding door broke. The service man fixed it but had to put a new lock cylinder in. All of our exterior doors are keyed the same so now we have to call a locksmith or something to have the sliding door lock re-keyed to match the rest of the locks in the house. March 8, 2013

Best service experience I've ever had. My initial call was returned promptly, follow up and scheduling was great, and the technician was on time, courteous, helpful, even pointed out a second window that needed attention, which I had failed to notice. Came back for follow up appointment to fix that issue -- again, scheduled promptly and efficiently, arrived on time. Really, couldn't have asked for any aspect of this to have been better. You hype your warranty but cover next to nothing. You go on about how great your lifetime warranty is but when i read your warranty, there is a big long list of exclusions. I am not sure what IS covered. The inside pane of glass on my window cracked with no one even at home. And that is NOT covered. I am not impressed and would NOT buy any more Milgard products. And when i talked to your representative on the phone and said i had a cracked window, she did NOT tell me that it was not covered but would send out someone to look at it in about a month!!! Service was outstanding! Our technician came on time and inspected all of our windows even though he was here to replace the one I noticed. Turns out several others needed replacing as well. When he came back to fix the additional windows I asked him to check a window that had some water droplets on the inside. He had already put his ladder away, but was so kind to get it back out and check the window. Went out of his way to fix the problem. Warrenty Repair Our Milgard windows, skylight, & sliding doors were installed some 17 years ago. This fall one of the skylights failed and the sliders were malfunctioning. I called the Milgard service number and they knew what windows/skylights/sliders we had and set an appointment to include the crew bringing the replacement skylight with them. Tech's Gill & Tim showed up with the new skylight and parts to repair the sliders. They were both professional and friendly. It was great to have the entire job completed in one visit. Great job to the entire crew from the phone call to the install. March 7, 2013
PEOPLE WERE EXCELLENT; CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT Window glass was covered under lifetime warranty. Sent glass with scratch on it. Had to schedule another appointment. I specifically asked for first appointment. Day before appointment; received e-mail indicating that appointment time was pushed back to 9-11 am. I did not have chance to re-schedule. Not happy that appointment time was changed last minute. I had no choice but to wait for tech. March 7, 2013
