Fast and Efficient! Ray came in and fixed my problem window and a number of French doors that were sticking and not locking correctly. He was very professional, efficient and quick! Seevice Tech Robert was very professional Although we are not sure our issue ihas been resolved we are hoping that we have more information to work with. Outstanding Service!!! Customer Rep, Lisa, kept me informed of dates etc. The installers, Paulino and Mark were fantastic. They arrived at the scheduled time, immediately proceeded to replace the two windows I had issues with, cleaned up the minimal mess, and were done in just a few minutes. Extremely professional, but couldn't solve the problem I absolutely loved my Milgard representative. He was a very solid and truthful guy who maintained excellent professionalism. I demonstrated how pouring water into the sliding door track caused the living room leak to happen, and he inspected everything carefully. However, the conclusion was that it may be some of the caulking that caused the leak. I do not believe so, but it is very difficult to prove what is causing the leak. Unfortunately Mark's hands were bound since Milgard cannot remove the sliding door to prove that the sliding door is faulty. Therefore, I will have to pay a contractor $1000 to do this work. This is very painful, and I wish that Milgard could perform this rather than having to prove that the sliding door is leaking. October 15, 2012

Impressive warranty, prompt service, and well-trained technicians Overall, I was extremely impressed with Milgard's response to the problem - a leaking seal. There was no hesitation to honor the warranty and replace the window, which was 10 or 11 years old. The only drawback: on the first trip the technician's made to our house, they brought a mis-tagged window that was not the correct size. They had to return several days later with the correct size. Technicians, though, were very friendly and knowledgeable, and even helped fix a problem with another window. We have been very happy with the Milgard windows and now are happy with that the company stands behind them! October 15, 2012
Not happy with the overall installation The service rep was knowledgeable and professional, but hard to get a hold of and not that quick to respond. The techniction was prompt and quick BUT... For each window, they were replacing either the single pane or the double pane of a 3 pane window because the seal was broken. When a seal is broken, the inside of the panes fog up or get a film. One would think it logical to clean the remaining pane before installing the new pane. But, NO, I now have new windows that still have a fog/film on the inside which I can't clean. I also have junk on the frame from the installation that the installer didn't clean out and again, I can't get rid of it. Also, I still have VERY discolored (brown instead of white) frames between the panes which I thought were being replaced in 4 of the 5 windows. October 15, 2012
The Milgard product is great---but "certification" as a "Milgard Dealer" is meaningless, when the installation is done badly. We decided that the Milgard product would be the right windows to use when we wanted to replace 24 windows on our nineteen-yr old stucco home. There are only two contractors in the San Antonio, TX area that have been "certified" to sell Milgard windows; unfortunately, we found that "certified" does not mean that the contractor or subs have been specially trained in the installation of Milgard, nor does that mean that the local Milgard sales rep will do anything to advise the subs on proper installation. After many problems [8 weeks, 5 subcontractor teams, caulking smeared on the house stucco, no foam installation used, etc.] we fired our first contractor. The second one was wonderful---his team did the entire job [re-positioned the ones that had been put in, used foam, cleaned up, etc.] in 6 days. The few fixes that Milgard Service Techs had to make were done promptly and professionally. October 15, 2012

Overall good experience; couple of minor problems Tech arrived on time. Looked at the windows to be replaced and noticed one more that had a problem and replaced that one too. Left a little bit of mess, nothing major. Also someone stepped on and broke one of my plants, one that didn't seem to be in an area where stepping on it couldn't be avoided. October 15, 2012

:( After waiting 1 month for a repair person he took 10 minutes to fix the problem and did not help me in any way to ensure that I would not do this to the window again the next time I try to remove it for cleaning. Perhaps he could have taken 10 more minutes and helped me with that, Instead he told me to look online for instructions. I looked online and did not see anything to help me. I am very disappointed in the vertical window purchased. I will never be able to clean it because I can not remove it by myself. :( October 14, 2012
The way a company is supposed to be! Milgard is what a company is supposed to be. Offer a quality product at a reasonable cost and supply the customer with an exceptional guarantee and service. It may sound like I am an employee of Milgard but I am not. Based on my research of different window and door manufacturers I chose Milgard for my major remodeling project. It's been 2 years since completion and one of the windows was not shutting squarely due to the house settling and the installer (not Milgard) not installing it square. The entire process from this initial phone call to customer service to the time the service men arrived and adjusted the window was done completely professional. I highly recommend Milgard for any and all door and window needs. October 13, 2012

bad customer service & product is difficult to use. I recently purchased four Tuscany doors. It is the most difficult doors to operate. It has very poor locking device. When you ask for help from customer service they don't even listen to your problems. Instead they only listen to their technician. Excuse me, I thought I was the customer who PAID for 21 windows & doors. It was very dissapointing. October 13, 2012
The whole service team is great. Edgar R. is a great technician. He came and replaced all the incorrect vertical window springs the builder installed. He also fixed and fine tune the patio door which builder incorrectly installed. One thing the builder did correctly was to use Milgard windows and doors in my home. I will definitely use Milgard products in my home again. October 12, 2012
