Outstanding service! The technician tried several ways to contact me the day before so we could discuss his arrival and he even made a special effort to get there early as we had another appt. Good service! All issuses were delt with except for a window that continues to leak water. The service reps have been here twice before but still leaks. Now they say it is the contractor's problem, not Milgard. So in the meantime we can't get the contractor to respond to our calls. October 6, 2012
Glad I chose Milgard! From my initial call for service till the actual repair the process was seamless. I really like your email notification for service and the fact that you can see who is coming to your home is a big plus. Your technician arrived as scheduled and completed the repair with no issues, if I didn't witness the repair I'd never know the window was touched, no blemishes, trash or even a hand print left behind. Great experience but I was worried Had not seen overall great reviews for warranty service. So I was worried a bit. The lower sill of an upstairs window was jammed open a bit after the balance bar fell out. Our home is 7 yrs old. Window should be under warranty. So, I called a 1-800 Milgard number. Got put thru to local rep and a service time was arranged after I explained the situation. He came, he replaced broken parts, he left. Very nice guy. I'm totally satisfied, don't know how it could have gone better! October 5, 2012

Window repair My phone call to the Milgard company was answered by a professional operator and connected to the proper department. This person was knowledgeable about all the information pertaining to our case. A date was set up for the repairs. We received an email notification as well as a postcard reminder. The repairmen came on the designated date and time. The repair was completed quickly,efficiently and the area was cleaned before he left. Thank you Milgard. October 5, 2012

Excellent service! Had to play phone tag with customer service rep over several days, but she was diligent in making sure she got ahold of me for service. I appreciated that. I liked the email confirmation with a picture of actual service man on it. That was great. I knew who exactly to expect. Very good service Both the person I contacted by phone and the person who came to the house were very prompt, courteous, professional and helpful. A lot of other places could take a lesson. Give them both an attaboy or attagirl, as appropriate. Not crazy about waiting around at the house for a couple of hours, but that's the only gripe I have. Great job! October 4, 2012

Nearly 23 years of excellent service Milgard has been a great company with a superior product that they stand behind 100%. I purchased my first set of windows and doors from them in 1990, and my second set in 2002. I am always very impressed with how responsive they have been when I need service. Other than the inevitable fogging of south-facing units, I have had only one mechanical issue - the aluminum casement window handles needed replacing. Every time I've called, I've had very satisfying results. No other window company that I've ever dealt with comes close. October 4, 2012

Great lifetime warranty When I had a problem with one of my new windows, I called Milgard and they responded immediately. They set up an appointment and came out right on time, installed a replacement window in a matter of minutes, and were out the door. I wish most companies were like Milgard. It's nice to deal with a company that stands behind their product and warranty, and responds in a positve manner. I would recommend, and have recommended Milgard to many of my friends, and they are happy as well. October 4, 2012
Would use again ... Everything was positive, except we never received notice of when the replacement window was going to be installed. Example - we had three windows replaced due to warranty issues. One of the replacements was scratched, so they ordered another one. I set up a date for installation of the one replacement and was told I'd get 48 hours notice as to the range of time the technician would arrive (like I did for the first install). I didn't receive an email, called and left a message the day before the appointment, and never heard anything back. I did receive a call from the technician the day of the appointment when he was on his way to our house. Thankfully I had my father-in-law there for the day in case the technician came ... Simply Excellent My initial email inquiry on the website was not responded to for a while, then suddenly, no emails bu clear direct phone calls, a prompt plan for an importantly narrow "time window" for the 1st appointment for measuring. Within 2-3 weeks, final appointment made and job conducted within the "time window" offered. Rapidly and professionally completed, courteous and friendly servicemen. Unbelievable quality of service and product I purchased a home 7 years ago that had recently installed Milgard windows throughout. In the past few months I had noticed a slight streaking in between the dual panes. I called Milgard customer service and by giving my address to the representative all of the info concerning the windows was at her fingertips! An appointment was made and a pair of highly knowledgeable technicians came to the house and performed the repairs under warranty with great skill and courtesy.
