Showed up on time as promised The in home technicians were at our home early in the 2 hour window of time that was given. The fix was fairly simple so they were in and out in less than 20 minutes!! I was able to get on with the rest of my day which is always a good thing... September 26, 2012

Usual great service that we recieve from Milgard! A warranty sliding window repair that the service rep tried to lead me through, and referred me to a well dome video, but I needed professional help. The home visit was scheduled and took place with total success. My wife was impressed by the service reps, and we asked them to check another window that was difficult to raise, and they lubricated it for us. Thank you so much. This was the best and least stressful experience ever for in home service Great experience, I contacted the store where I bought the windows 9 years ago and told them about the fogging in 1 window. She contacted Milgard and I was contacted a few days later. The rep was courtious and interested in my problem. We set a date for replacement of the glass of the moving window and he came at the begining of the time window and was very professional and took about 15 min. He noticed the fixed window was starting to show the same problem and my rep called with another date for replacement. Same thing, great service by a different service tech. I am very inpressed by the entire Milgard team. Good Job! September 26, 2012
Happy to have bought Milgard I purchased replacements for all the windows in our house in 1999 and the seal on one of them failed in 2011. I called Milgard last month and they came out to replace it, no questions asked (other than verifying it was their window). I have the peace of mind of knowing that my windows will always be good or Milgard will take care of the problem. September 26, 2012
Outstanidng, just like always I have been a Milgard's customer for years and I have never seen a business more customer oriented. Service was exactly right I counted 8 windows in 1 room, forgetting there were 5 others the same configuration. The service tech checked them all and had the parts on his truck to repair the 5 I missed. This was a warranty service and we installed these windows years ago. I'm impressed. September 25, 2012

Perfect Service Wow, I am very impressed. Felix, your service tech, showed up at exactly the time you indicated he'd be here. He was very professional and courteous. He completed the repairs on two windows and left in 35 minutes. I had the window coverings up and furniture moved back in place withing 45 minutes of his arrival at my house. persistant service The service tech had said he would need to return to do a final adjustment after the part settled in place. He returned and made the adjustment and I think our door problems are solved. September 25, 2012
Excelent Service Upon being notified of a defective window, customer service promptly arranged for the date and time for a technician to come to my home and take the measurement of the defective window. Soon after that customer service notified and wanted to confirm the installation date and approximate time to install the new window. Technician arrived on the appointed date and time and installed the new window very quickly and professionally. Very neat and clean work. Very impressed and happy. . September 25, 2012
It's Not About Me It seems the culture at Milgard is us against them (the customer). Everything was a struggle and in the end I have an appointment at Milgard's convenience, on Milgard's terms, and they made me feel like I was lucky to get it. Much happier this time Mark was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He fixed the windows promptly. He reassured me that I made the right decision to build my home with Milgard window after I had my doubts from a previuos service call experience. This was not the case when we called the first time, a few years ago. Back then, I had to ask to speak to a service supervisor just to get someone to come out and look at the windows. Then the service tech just re-inserted the old balisters, sprayed the windows with lubricant and told me I needed to use two hands to open the windows to keep them level. Much happier this time, but not sure why this wasn't fixed this way two years ago! September 25, 2012
Great installers Unfortunately, I was asked by the service rep for the exact glass measurements, height and width, which I measured and gave to her. Apparently an additional inch needs to be added to that measurement to seat the glass into the frame, which the rep did not add in. Therefore the glass was too small but installed anyway. The installers were great and made it work however now it will not hold the outside stripping/ sealing edge on as we'll as should be. I was never told to add an inch to the measurement I took. Trouble with slider door We initially went with Milgard based on their outstanding warranty and customer service. Its been several years since we installed our door and lately we noticed an issue with the handle, it had become loose. I called Milgard and they contacted us immediately to inquire about the issue with our door. Several weeks later the techs arrived and not only took care of the issue we called about but also replaced the rail and rollers - what an AMAZING difference this made! Service tech would be an asset in any company! The service tech in my area has been out a couple of times over the years. Each time he has been extremely professional, knowledgeable about the product, and stays focused on getting the job done. It's refreshing to have someone trying to get done promptly and not be invasive when they come into your house. The quality of work has been great as well. Milgard should pay attention to this person as they represent the company VERY well. September 24, 2012
This service was great and solved my problem. The service techs listened to my concerns and quickly diagonsed the problem. Apparently the wrong vertical seal how been installed at the factory in my slider at the end. They pulled out the door replaced the seal with the correct one and did some other adjustment tweaks. After they completed their work, the door worked much better. I am now a happy camper. I give the Milgard Service Techs my highest recommendation. September 24, 2012

Third try worked. I did not have a service person here. My contact was only with customer service. This was my third call to customer service since 9/7/12. The person from the first call sent me an email with a quote for parts 9/12/12. Despite you having my correct email address, I did not receive it. Patty took my second call 9/20. She told me the quote was not complete and that she would call back with the correct quote. Cheryl took my third call 9/24/12 and told me the quote was correct, took my credit card #, verified the mailing address, and assured me I'd have the 3 screen door handles and strikers delivered expeditiously. Stand by their product We were having some sliding issues with one of our double-hung windows that was installed as part of new construction. Milgard has instructional videos on their website that was very helpful, but it didn't quite solve the problem. I submitted a help request and within that same day, I get a call from the service rep. They sent me some replacement parts in case I wanted to DIY, and in parallel scheduled a service technician to come out later in case I wasn't able to fix it myself. Easy, informative communication between the Milgard sevice department, the technician and the followup. I was impressed at how quickly Milgard responded to our request and how they fully stood behind their warrantly. Highly recommended. Two thumbs up. September 24, 2012
Above and beyond Not only does Milgard stand behind their product but they actually have a professional dedicated team to handle warranty calls. I was shocked to imediatly talk to a friendly representative after only a few rings. The warranty process was quick and easy and I had someone scheduled to come out the very next week. When the technitian arrived he was extremely professional. The truck looked clean and very organized. He was in a clean uniform and made sure to put booties on when entering the house. His work was quick and he did an excellent job. I will be recomending Milgard to all of my friends and anyone I know who is building or looking to remodel. Well done Milguard!! Disappointed When I realized my patio door lock was not functioning, I contacted Milgard immediately, but was dismayed to find a significant wait for a service response. Once the technician assessed the problem, I was told additional hardware was needed, and this took about another two weeks. Finally, when the repairmen returned to fix the problem, they were so careless that they scratched the door frame in several areas. Between the faulty equipment, the delay in replacing hardware, and the disregard for quality work, I am very disappointed. I have other home remodeling projects in mind, but am unsure if I will be a future Milgard customer, and based on my experience would have a difficult time recommending your products. This service was very good The technician was a pro and efficient. In and out quickly but amiable. The only minor complaint I have was the window construction itself. Where the original window had a filler piece between the glasses the replacement was missing this piece giving the replacement an unfinished look when compared to the glass next to it. Service Tech's service was excellent It took 10 days to get an email back in response from our first phone where I was told I needed to send a picture of the damaged window just to let me know what was going on. Though I think that your rep at your main office was polite and did a good job. The slow response, or lack there of just to update us was poor. September 22, 2012
