Milgard products and service repairs are truly excellent The in-home repair visit was done to completion. The service gentleman named Flex had a kind nature and was happy to take additional time to explain the details of the repair to me before proceeding with the job. The service I requested was to have a sliding bifold door handle replaced and four screen door latches installed and a cleaning with an adjusting of the door tracks. The service was done to completion and all the while my service repair gentlemen Flex made this repair experience extremely nice. October 8, 2012

Due to an earlier problem, he was a little late getting here; but that really wasn't a problem for us. He couldn't fix the problem. We requested a service call because our new patio slider is difficult to open/close. The door fits very tight at the top of the frame. The tech applied some silicon to the bottom track and the top track. He said it is a heavy door and that is what causes the difficulty. He advised it should loosen up over time. October 8, 2012

took to long 1,took 2 visits to get resolved, (2 Months) 2, Technician attitude poor 3, procedures poor did not use proper equipment to carry window, broke the window, and had to return a second time 4, left trash behind including small pieces of broken glass and rubber spacers, 5, the windows are great have seen a lower electrical bill already, October 7, 2012

Good service! All issuses were delt with except for a window that continues to leak water. The service reps have been here twice before but still leaks. Now they say it is the contractor's problem, not Milgard. So in the meantime we can't get the contractor to respond to our calls. October 6, 2012
Glad I chose Milgard! From my initial call for service till the actual repair the process was seamless. I really like your email notification for service and the fact that you can see who is coming to your home is a big plus. Your technician arrived as scheduled and completed the repair with no issues, if I didn't witness the repair I'd never know the window was touched, no blemishes, trash or even a hand print left behind. Great experience but I was worried Had not seen overall great reviews for warranty service. So I was worried a bit. The lower sill of an upstairs window was jammed open a bit after the balance bar fell out. Our home is 7 yrs old. Window should be under warranty. So, I called a 1-800 Milgard number. Got put thru to local rep and a service time was arranged after I explained the situation. He came, he replaced broken parts, he left. Very nice guy. I'm totally satisfied, don't know how it could have gone better! October 5, 2012

Window repair My phone call to the Milgard company was answered by a professional operator and connected to the proper department. This person was knowledgeable about all the information pertaining to our case. A date was set up for the repairs. We received an email notification as well as a postcard reminder. Excellent service! Had to play phone tag with customer service rep over several days, but she was diligent in making sure she got ahold of me for service. I appreciated that. I liked the email confirmation with a picture of actual service man on it. That was great. I knew who exactly to expect.
