Service was good except that first visit was poor as parts required were not on truck simple parts of the casement windows were not available on the vehicle. This required a second appointment and additional delay and expense August 23, 2014

Service tech was the best. Service tech called to update arrival time and showed up when he said he would. Service tech, Xavier, was polite and seemed to know how to fix the problem. This service was as good as Blue Bell's Rocky Mountain Thunder ice cream Our house was built in 2003. It is located in Southern Colorado at an elevation of 7614 feet. If we counted correctly we have 31 double pane low-e windows. Some of them are 5' x 5', one is longer, some we call rakes, some are casement, one is a sliding door and some sliders and fixed and some have tinting. At this altitude during the summer the sun can bake bread through a window, not these windows. Unlike some of the surrounding houses our furniture, rugs, and floors have not faded a bit. Now about the warranty. Milgard stuck these big red stickers on each window and door stating their warranty. Hard to believe by the time they were all cleaned off. But it is an absolute fact. No hassle on the defective units being replaced. The customer service on the phone was efficient and courteous. The two technicians replacing the units were totally self-sufficient, polite, focused on the job at hand, protected our furnishings when bringing equipment in, and cleaned up before leaving on their 200 mile return trip. We appreciated the picture of the lead tech by email before they got here for security reasons. Nothing was left undone. Thanks Milgard. August 22, 2014
Service was great, timing of repairs could be improved Overall the service was much better than my previous experience. Much improved. Technician knew exactly what to do and completed the task quickly. Only down side is the time it takes for tech to order and receive the product. Being in the middle of the Pacific ocean takes a little longer to get products here. August 22, 2014

Untimely! Called four weeks ago to get help in replacing a broken window. The next available appointment to have the window measured was two weeks out. Was patient in waiting for the appointment. At the appointment, the tech said I would receive a phone call within a week or so to notify me of the cost and to set up a time to replace the window. It has been over two weeks and I still have not heard. I called this week to check on the situation, was only able to leave a message, and have not had a return phone call. Service is poor at best! Excellent Service! Tom Dobbs, the service technician, went above and beyond to provide quality warranty service and installation for our windows! He was very professional, timely, knowledgable and easy to work with. Tom was able to answer any questions I had, and he was willing to look over all of our windows just in case any other windows were starting to fail and would need replacing. 2nd Service Call - Both Exceptional I replaced the windows in my home in 2004 with Milgard. This service was our second visit to replace glazing that failed. In both instances, the factory customer service was efficient and friendly. The field service techs arrived on time, were very helpful and promptly completed the replacement. Would recommend Milgard for great products with excellent support! An unfortunate rarity today, these people stand behind their product completely... August 21, 2014
Had to call 4 times We love Milgard products. We have installed windows and doors in 4 of our houses. Took a while to co ordinate the repair on a door but overall Milgard did follow up. I recommend their products to any one needing windows or doors. August 21, 2014

Not sure my problem was fixed. There were to service people out to the house a month before. They needed some parts. The service person who came back didn't know what the problem was or where/how to install the part. Concerned I will have more water damage and have to make a 3rd apt to have this resolved. Quick, efficient service! I was having a large window replaced due to a faulty seal. All parts of my contact with Milgard were excellent; from my initial phone call to report the problem, to the representative who measured my window and the installers who put it in. The installation took less than 30 minutes, was professionally done and they showed up on time! So glad we decided to use Milgard windows in our home. August 21, 2014
Wonderful service; no hoops! We had all (Non-Milgard) windows replaced in 1994. Since then, we've had a few windows fail. The service was so easy that I was expecting to have to keep calling Milgard until they finally came. So wrong! The tech was on time (I was advised of the arrival time and date via phone and email) and was friendly and quick. He even checked all the other windows in case I missed a failed window. I've never had any service like this from any manufacturer! Milgard? Has no equal!! August 20, 2014

Milgard has the very best warranty! We've had two issues involving our Milgard windows within the past 4 yrears. One was a latch problem and the other was a window discoloration. In each instance Milgard treated us with understanding and professionalism and immediately took steps to remedy both problems. Took care of issue promptly Service rep on phone asked the right questions after I described the issue, and determined the parts needed for the repair. In-home service rep arrived within the scheduled time frame. Repair was completed in 5 minutes. The issue was covered under Milgard's warranty and they honored it outright. FINALLY GOT MY 6 WINDOWS WITH BROKEN SEALS REPLACED It took your technicians 3 service calls to get the measurements of my windows correct- that meant 3 days I had to take off work to be here for them. Seems ridiculous. The final technician who replaced the windows was very fast & courteous. Thank goodness I won't have to take off work (and wait another 3-4 weeks) to get my windows repaired! window repair service initial réponse to my email request for help was real slow (days), but once the appointment for in home service was set, then it was great. A phone call confirmation 2 days before and the men showed up on time. Service was efficient. They even took off their shoes when coming into our home. Good job. August 19, 2014
Wrong parts sent twice and had to have a tech come out I ordered the "balancers" and the first time they were too short. When I called I was told you don't make the 25-9 anymore. The apparent solution was the 26-9, but what arrived was ONE 29-9 when it should have been a pair. In the process of trying to install the one that was too short the spring broke and the clip the "balancer" was supposed to fit into broke off and went inside the window frame. In frustration I asked for a tech to come out. He did an excellent job of fixing the problem. The phone people and the shipping department apparently don't communicate too well as both shipments were wrong. The tech brought a pair of the 26-9 ones. Another suggestion is you send instructions on how to perform the installation. August 19, 2014
