In home fine but telephone response and scheduling were poor When I called in no-one can find which center services my home was in. I live in CA in Newport Coast ( Beach) and they could not find the 92657 Zip " because there are so many" . I got subsequently sent to the Simi Valley center several times despite the fact I told them it was the Temecula Center in needed.... The wait time for an appointment was almost two months which is too long and the woman on the phone did not know the product line. That said the in-house part when very well and the tech was very helpful - thanks! November 24, 2014

great service one of the original windows did not fit based on the measurements I was asked to provide. this resulted in a one month delay to get another window made. if a professional milgard measurement had been made first this could have been avoided. November 24, 2014
Bowed window causing it to catch while closing Problem remedied by installing new pane, stiffened by adding additional piece of glass. The door is harder to open. I remain hopeful the additional weight wont compromise the rollers. November 24, 2014
The service was beyond superb The first person arrived on time and went right to work. Fixed two windows that had come off the track then measured window to be replaced. Very clean and nicely dressed. Finished in less that 20 minutes. Installer for window was so patient with my barking elderly dog. He went right to work, dismantled and replaced window. No updates When the tech showed up he only checked one window that was sticking but we have another one.Also it's been well over a month and no updates on ordered parts or their installation.So were are a bit frustrated at this point.Thank you November 23, 2014

A window repair. I'm not very happy. I've been waiting for a month for my window replacement, which I've already paid for. I was told via email a date on which the repair technician would come. They showed up a day later with out any Notification. The technician was not the friendliest and some what rude. Only to find out the made was to small. I have yet to hear back from them on when I can expect my broken window fix. Is this how you do Business? November 22, 2014
Lifetime warranty may take a lifetime to get fixed. We had two issues - a stuck window on a double hung and a crank came off an awning window. Both needed replacement parts. THAT service call was great. Tech was able to diagnose the issue and said he'd order the parts.... The first time i stayed home from work for the appt, I got a call that morning saying the parts didn't make the truck, and I'd be rescheduled. I wasn't. So after a month I called to schedule the appt for the fix, which required another month to get. I wasn't able to keep that appointment due to work reasons, but the office advised they had a special Sat open as i'd need two techs, and that date worked out great. Very appreciative of the Sat option! The techs came and...they only had one of the 2 parts. The double hung part wasn't needed he said. Just silicon. No..i think there is a part that was supposed to be ordered.....Silicon didn't fix the issue so the 2nd tech looked at it. yup. part needs to be ordered. Apparently it wasn't. Now once again I will wait for someone to call and set up an appointment.....Hopefully by summer the window will be fixed. November 22, 2014

Window Repair We called and reported that one of our windows was cloudy and hazy - stuff was inside the window. They came and fixed it. We travel a lot and just got back home to see it for the first time. If they came when they said they were and replaced it the new window is just like the old one. It is cloudy and hazy and the stuff in the middle looks awful. Since we were not here and have not heard anything at all about the window we just assumed they came and fixed it. We had our neighbor come up and unlock the door on the day they said they would be here so he could get inside to do whatever was necessary. We are totally dissatisfied. My husband has called Milgard today and left a message that we need to speak to someone about this. November 22, 2014

The service from the field tech working on my doors was excellent. I was disappointed in not receiving a call from Milgard before they made an appointment for the warranty repair. I explained to Home Depot that I had an emergency (because the door would not lock) and should have been called by Milgard to confirm an appointment. The tech that made the repairs was excellent and fixed the problem of not locking properly as well as the gouge in the door handle. Thank you November 21, 2014

World Class Customer Service, Milgard It was a real pleasure to treated to such awesome customer service by Milgard. It's refreshing to find a company that actually stands behind its' lifetime warranty of its excellent products. I certainly do not regret having purchased Milgard thermal pane windows 15 years ago. I had 2 window panes, out of 43 install panes that had a minor moisture ingression between the window panes. After contacting Milgard via internet, a customer service representative responded within the next day, sent a technician to assess the situation and eventually replaced the 2 window panes within 2 weeks. In addition, the technicians replaced some worn out window counterbalance sliders, which were not reported in the initial contact, but discovered when the service technician investigated. The service technicians were prompt on keeping the appointments that were set up, were friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The replacement was very fast and completely satisfactory. And all this was done under their lifetime warranty coverage. I have never had this level of service, even when I have to pay for the service upfront. November 21, 2014

Overall - service was excellent After reminding one of the techs to remove his engineer boots that had snow on them all was great. We had two windows replaced - one small and one large. Milgard after-sale service is still good! Even though Milgard no longer does its own after-sale product service, and contracts it out to third-party providers, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of selecting the folks who actually provide the service. The guys showed up a little early, came with all equipment and supplies to do the job, and weren't bashful about listening to my ideas. This service was more than great. We have had a many service reps visit our home over the years but this is the first time we can say the service was truly outstanding. He was here for just a little more than an hour, but during that time he replaced 4 windows, repaired the locks on 5 other windows and fixed sticking door. Over a month later - windows still not fixed Approximately October 15, I tried to find service contact information on your website. Two weeks later, after making multiple online requests for service and no response, I called the installer who initially installed my windows. He gave me a number where I could actually talk to a person. Your service rep said that they would ship me the parts and I could fix it myself rather than wait three weeks for service. We agreed that if I was successful fixing it myself I would cancel the service appointment. The parts never arrived, but today the repairman arrived - without the correct parts. Now it is going to be another MONTH before I can get another appointment for repair. On a separate issue, I requested some spare locks because they are always breaking - and she sent entirely the wrong parts. I can't imagine how this could go much worse. November 20, 2014
