This coordination was poor. The technician was good. This was warranty service. I had to follow up with the service rep multiple times to find out what information was needed, whether she got my information and if/when something would be scheduled. When the repair guy showed up he only had 1 of the 3 replacement windows. His work order did not include the other two windows, which were never ordered according to him. We had to wait another week before we could get the missing windows installed. I rate overall Fair only because the technician was professional, did a good job and was apologetic for the mistake. Exceptional service from Milgard! Why anyone would purchase windows or doors from anyone other than Milgard is beyond me! My patio door I purchased 17 years ago came off track. Todd was here promptly this morning and upgraded the track and was done in 10 minutes! I will never purchase a window or door from anyone other than Milgard. Problems Appointment was scheduled from 2-4pm. Tech called at 3:30, said he'd be there an half and hour and showed up at 5:00. There were 3 items on our service order. Tech repaired the loose mullion however, he did not come with the part to replace the window latch, and found he wasn't able to see clearly the faulty seal on the French doors. He said he'd mail the latch to us so we could put it on ourselves, and did what he could on the seal, but we are to call again if it didn't solve the problem. This was not a satisfactory service call. August 11, 2014

What a warranty! The warranty on these windows is fantastic. After 23 years of use we had one window starting to fog up. Your rep looked at it and immediately ordered a replacement. At the same time we realized the vinyl around one of our 3 skylights was starting to crack. All three were replaced. We were treated extremely well. Thank you Milgard. August 11, 2014
Excellent Service Tech experience We were emailed earlier that a service tech would be available on Sat the 10th and that we would be emailed 2 days before the 10th with time frame and service tech info......The 2 day advance email info was not sent/received (as done with first window replacement). Because we were not contacted we assumed the replacement would not take place, so we were not home. The Service Tech arrived, no one was home, but instead of leaving, he took the iniative to contact us, waited (approx 10 minutes) for our return and replaced our window. Outstanding, professional friendly service. Might want to review why 2 day advance email did not go out...other than that minor hiccup....we are very satisfied with Milgard. August 11, 2014
Professional all the way Had leaking glass panes. Called Milgard and got to talk to someone! They set up an appointment to check the suspect windows. Notified me 2 days prior with time window of 2 hours. Was contacted by agent prior to his arrival. He checked all the windows, and measured those that needed replacement. Was notified a few days later that replacement panes were ready with a scheduled date of install. Tech called ahead and gave me his arrival time. Replaced all 4 bad panes. Quick and professional! Conscientious and determined to solve problems. This was a 2nd call for several single hung windows that were not functioning. Following the first call, the windows were working fine, for 1-2 days, then not at all so this time he really took the time to check and double check them after they were fixed. I appreciated that he spent the time to be sure they were going to remain operating properly. August 8, 2014

Quick fix and a great tip to keep my windows "healthy"! I had a window "elbow" that was broken, leaving me unable to close the window. It took 3 weeks to get a Milgard service man out to repair it. The service guy was great. He discovered it was only a clip that held one part of the "elbow" together that was missing. He quickly put a new clip on and voila it was fixed. It took all of about 10 minutes! He then told me to be sure to lock the windows every time I closed them to keep the frame in alignment. I had not always been doing that, but now I am. Great service guy and he went the extra mile to give me a tip to keep my window frames in good shape. It went so quickly I didn't get his name! Well worth the wait to get the window fixed. Excellent customer service. You can't expect more. I had a leaked window. I called Milgard, they asked me the order number. I did not have the order number. Customer service rep sent me an email explaining how to locate the order number on the window. I was lazy enough to sent my reply quickly. But as soon as I sent my reply, I got an email confirming the appointment to replace the window. They did not ask a single question about what happened to the window, why it is leaking or for how long is it leaking. No question asked. The guy showed up at my door step on time, took the window out and replaced it in 30 minutes. Great job, excellent customer service, very professional. Happy customer. August 8, 2014

The service rep, Leo, was prompt and courteous I always appreciate it when a rep arrives at the appointed time. Leo did and he was very courteous and understood the problem. It was solved to our satisfaction in just a few minutes with a promise to return if the problem reoccurs. August 7, 2014
