Every good thing I heard about Milgard was true - thank you guys!! My whole experience with Milgard has been a joy. My rep Jeff was really helpful and talked me through the whole project. I am building my own house, for the first time, from the ground up, so have no prior experience, but he made it all sound easy. He helped me choose which windows would work best and advised me on my rough cuts and exact measurements. They delivered on time, to my remote part of the world, in rural Oregon and I installed them myself. difficulty arranging initial appointment for window replacement,need for second appt Difficulty getting a commitment to definite scheduled time for install of replacement window panes. I needed to take time off from work to be present at appt. Windows replaced well w/ excellent technician but one window was delivered incorrectly thus needed to make second apt for this to be installed/replaced. Not easy to get a Saturday appt for this but eventually was able. Windows are excellent and Milgard stood by their warranty without any problems. Technician photo was emailed w/ appt confirmation date/time so felt confident when he arrived. Tech was EXCELLENT -knowledgable, neat and efficient, kind, professional!~ I recommend Milgard to anyone who needs replacement windows. We've had them installed to replace all windows in 2 homes now. Leaking seal on Window As always, Milgard customer service is superb! Short delay in service personnel returning initial call (called Weds. got call back Sat am 9:30am) may have been due to dealing with rep who does not routinely cover my area. However, Kudos for going the extra mile and calling to schedule appt on a Sat (presumably a non-work day!) Anyone reading this should not hesitate if considering new windows from Milgard. We were thrilled that they decided to warranty the window. We struggled to get the In-Home Service Tech to follow the simple instructions we left over 5 times saying to call us before they get there so we could come let them in. They would show up unannounced and leave a business card and leave or not show up at all when we took off work to wait for them. March 27, 2014
Migard stood behind their product and fixed broken door handle The good: The slider door handle broke. I called and they set up an appt window of 2 hrs. The guy showed up and was gon in 15 min.Great! The bad- Milgard doesn't warranty the screen door in any way shape of form. I can't get a replacement handle w/o buying a whole new door. March 26, 2014
Great service from Milgard! John came out as scheduled and replaced our windows. He expedited the service as there were issues and he wasn't sure he could finish the job today but came back within an hour and completed the job. March 26, 2014

Professional/great service We had a problem with a Milgard window that was installed years ago. Made contact with the service department through there website. Within 48 hours the new window was on order and replacement day was set. We found the entire process, (initial contact thru installation) to be extremely professional. What is wrong with you??? I'm a General Building Contractor that has purchased over 1,000 of your windows and doors. On a current project 2 of 3 windows were sent out with the wrong hardware. After 3 months, 30+ phone calls from the architect and me, and a dozen broken promises from your utterly incompetent customer service I'm still missing a handful of parts. I am beyond frustrated. You are not the only window and door manufacturer. Start acting like it! March 26, 2014

Absolutly amazing!!! Our windows were 12 years old. We called the warranty dept. and they took the time to find us in their computer system and help us identify the glass that needed replacement and scheduled a tech to come out and replace it. Lifetime Guarantee is Honored We've had our windows for 10 years. Recently, we had 3 windows with failed seals between the layers of glass. That is normal for most windows. Professionalism and service were awesome! One window in our home was broken due to a flash flood. I initially reached service representative Arik Holt by calling the number on your website. When he called me back, he was extremely helpful through the whole process of ordering the windows and scheduling the installation. Because the process took quite awhile to complete due to the difficulty in locating the line item number, Arik gave us a great deal on the window panes. The service techs Mark Stephens and Tom Dobbs were very professional and installed the new glass within minutes of arrival. Overall I believe its some of the best customer service I have received in dealing with any company. I would definitely recommend Milgard to anyone. March 22, 2014
Great service Thank you for the excellent service we received regarding our broken window due to the weather. We were surprised that the replacement was of no cost to us since we purchased them for our whole house in 2001. Bob is always professional and possesses the skills to correct any problem, but could not complete assignment.. Bob did an excellent job replacing stuck window springs, but could not complete the assignment, because the glass provided by the company was the incorrect size. Incorrect replacement glass ordered still waiting on correct ones The tech is very nice and professional but their is a problem somewhere in the process. Either the tech does not capture enough or the correct information when ordering the replacement glass or the factory does not produce what is on the replacement order. From a customer perspective, it doesn't matter where the problem is, it is just that the replacement time gets elongated. It would be nice if they actually got it right the first time. Both times that we have needed to have the glass replaced, there have been issues. When they have the proper glass, they are able to quickly replace it and without making a mess. Service request available only via internet On March 2nd I called Milgard about a service request. I was told that Milgard only accepts requests for service via their website. The next day I filled out the form on the website and submitted it. Two days later I received a response asking me to answer, in narrative form, the same questions I had answered with the first form. I responded. The next day I received a response TELLING ME that my repair date would be March 20, and that on March 19th someone would call to TELL ME the time of my appointment. Instead of 6 days to process my request, a ten-minute phone conversation could have answered all the necessary questions from a repair perspective as well as given me a choice in the date and time of service. As for the technician and the repair process, I can't comment. I was unable to be home between 1-3 on that date (some people have to work during the day!) so I had to ask someone else to be there to meet the technician.
