Great service The tech did say that the window he replaced had been installed improperly. There were 4 windows installed the last time I am hoping that the rest were installed properly. However with Milguard's commitment to service I know that if they were not they will immediately rectify any issues we have. We would never build another home without Milguard windows. The best! I can't say enough about Milgard's quality, warranty and service. We had our windows for a long time and just recently notice a few had some clouding going inside the panes. We called Milgard and explained the problem and without any hesitation Milgard set up an app to come out to review all our windows. They confirmed the issues on the windows we thought were a problem but they found another one as well. They set up another appointment with us to have all the damaged windows replaced. When they arrived to replace the windows, they were on time, they were very careful with every thing, they were extremely clean and utmost professional. Thank you Milgard for everything! Prompt service The only issue I had was I thought that they were going tofix the windows on the first visit. However he only came to measure. I had already given that info on the phone. Exceeded expectations What can I say? This is the "Model" for excellent service! Initial response within an hour of receiving with ultimate problem identified and replacement part on the way to me within 2 hours of introduction of the problem. Good 1st visit, tech arrived with the incorrect part. Required second visit two weeks later. Otherwise service was excellent and professional. I am much happier with Milgard than the installer I contracted to install their windows: Northwest Window and Door. NWW&D was a very difficult company to work with and came up short in every aspect of the job. Thankfully, Milgard is an exceptional company. December 16, 2013

Excellent product with great service We love our new windows! During a routine cleaning we noticed a smudge on the inside of a tempered glass pane - we called our contractor which referred our call to Milgard. We were contacted within a day, and scheduled withing 2 weeks. The service tech came out, looked at the smudge, and replaced the glass during the same visit. Top-flight service Only wish is that the service call could have been scheduled for the following day rather than two weeks later but I also realize that that is impossible, given where we live. They would have sent the part to me to install but, due to the fact that the window had jammed and I was afraid to force it, I requested the service call. Other than that, the service is absolutely wonderful. The windows were installed as part of original construction 6 years ago and there was no question about service or the free service call. I had mistakenly contacted the other window manufacturer with the same initials and was told that there would be an $85 fee for their service call. Milgard definitely stands behind their lifetime warranty. More encouraging is the fact that the service tech, John, checked the other windows in the house and recommended that we set another appointment to have all the balancers in the windows replaced because Milgard received a very large lot of defective balancers about the time our house was built and unknowingly installed them. Now they are taking the time and expense to replace ALL of them, not just the ones which fail. December 16, 2013

What Happened to MIlgard? Let me start by saying I have 32 Milgard windows, I have had 4 of them replaced over the last 5 years and every time the service call to to the repair has been top notch, however my last experience was not in line with what I am used to from Milgard! December 16, 2013

The service left my doors inoperable A Milgard technician and his assistant came out to my house to assess my service needs then returned at a later date with parts. One of their tasks was replacing the weather stripping on my both my French Doors. After they spent an hour slamming the door shut numerous times, the lead technician said "We'll the doors don't lock after we installed the weather stripping. You will need the slam the door as hard as you can to get it to lock or just love them unlocked". I was furious which didn't seem to get his attention. My doors still do not shut properly, now one of them is out of alignment from the "slamming" recommendation. When I replace the windows some day! I will be looking for a more reputable brand. I have had Milgard windows for years and recently needed service. The response was great. After having Milgard windows for years, I needed service. The service tech replaced a couple turn handles and inspected a couple windows that I thought might need service. He was very professional and efficient. Inspected all my windows and indicated that Milgard would replace three of them at no charge. I was so impressed. I highly recommend Milgard--their windows and their service. Very Impressed! My service from Milgard was Excellent. From the initial call to request a failed window replacement which were orig. installed in 2007. Milgard's representative gave prompt service and time frame for appt. The Service tech that came to our home, called 20 minutes before arrival. He was very efficient, friendly and not only fixed the failed window. He also addressed each one of our crank out windows. They had a horrible loud noise when opening and he adjusted each one during his time. Which I was Very pleased with.
