There was no service After waiting over two weeks for someone to call me, someone finally did call me and said he could come out in 17 MORE DAYS. I told him that I called another window company and that he came out and fixed my window in one day. I paid him $125 to fix my window. So much for the lifetime warranty. Very happy with service! We are the second owners of our home. After moving in we realized 3 windows were not working properly. I called Milgard & the rep was great! Our windows were still under warranty and we were able to get repaired for free. The tech that came out was very professional and informative. They were terrific! October 9, 2013
Fantastic service, easily my best experience in decades in any industry or country. It's a well integrated and mature process. Whereas other companies will bicker about whether the damage is covered by their warranty or guarantees, Milgard had no issues. Everything was straightforward. I especially liked how I initiated contact via the web and Milgard representatives immediately followed up via email. All aspects of the process was conducted via email except the actual fixed window. Milgard anticipated what questions I might have and gave excellent instructions on how to measure my window or identify my order. As a bonus, they provided the name and a photograph of the tech who would show up to fix my window. He was on time and did an excellent, professional job. I guess the best thing that I can say about it all was that this is how I would want to treat my customers were I setting up a warranty process. Great Warranty, Great Service! Milgard provides an excellent product warranty and they honor it! After 11 years in our house, we had to replace seven dual-pane window inserts, because they had grown foggy. Two of the windows had window-tint film, so they were out of warranty; but the replacement cost was very reasonable. The other five windows were replaced by Milgard with ZERO cost to us, not even an installation charge. They make a great product and they back it up! October 9, 2013

There was no service provided. No one responded to my initial email and phone requests. When I finally got someone on the phone she said everyone was really busy but she'd take down my information and resubmit it. A few days later I receive an email suggesting I look at an online video. So basically, after multiple attempts I am left with windows that don't work properly and no support from Milgard. October 9, 2013

See below I called on a sliding glass door that had scratches between the glass panels and was never noticed til 2 yrs later. Milgard was very nice and said they would replace it. My only complaint would be, is that they wanted us to measure the glass ,then of course, when it was brought 3 wks later it didn't fit. Shouldn't a professional measure it and save time and money? I felt that the service was excellent This problem was with a defect in the slider. I thought they would show up with a new slider and just swap it out. The tech disassembled the slider, installed a new thermopanel and reassembled the slider. He did an excellent job. There was no marring and you could not be see that it had been worked on. Great service is hard to find, and I found it. Was unexpectedly pleased with the prompt service from Milgard. Was a bit surprised that the installers didn't wear booties over their shoes to protect my white carpets. Was told because of carrying glass they couldn't. Hum, my house , my rules, so we came to a agreement and I put down carpets. The owner lacks "people" skills, but his employees make up for him. They did a beautiful job on the windows and i was comfortable with them in my home, and that say's a lot. October 7, 2013
Milgard backs up its products I would definitely buy Milgard again. Many products say they have a lifetime warranty but there are so many requirements it is not worth it. Milgard does an awesome job with no hassles or requirements to jump through hoops. I can see clearly now! Thanks October 7, 2013
