Prompt, on time, excellent rep on email and in person I am selling my mom's condo after 15+ years. After inspection, three windows needed to be replaced. Contacted Milgard, who quickly scheduled a tec to come and inspect and measure the windows. He was prompt and very efficient. Next they let me know the day for the replacement install. Even sent a reminder via email. The appoint for replacement was handled in the same prompt fashion. Tech called about half an hour before to let me know he was on the way. Once he arrived all he asked was which windows. Set right to work replaced all three in less than an hour cleaned up and he was gone. All of the personnel, especially Betty who I only corresponded via email were helpful, prompt and great to work with. Thank you for making it just a bit easier to sell mom's condo. Well done!!!! Great customer service I was unfortunately out of the promised lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of the windows. The sales rep was very professional in helping me to find this out, but then offered the help of providing the latches that I needed to fix the window. Great service Had an issue with one window where the slide was broken. Milgard came to the house and replaced all slides at no cost to me. Wow! What a great company! With moisture between the pains, I called for help. Within a couple of minutes I had an appointment. The window was replaced by a service representative on time, free of charge, without paperwork, by a pleasant young man with a smile and professional attitude. Wonderful Service. I had an excellent experience with Milgard when I needed a replacement window. They scheduled my appointment a very short time from my original phone call. Representative very professional I did not make the initial contact. The company I bought the window through made the call and they contacted Milguard. I had to follow up with a second call because Milgard did not get ahold of me. On the second call, I got immediate response. The representative came an hour earlier than the confirmation time, which was fine because I was home. He had booties for his shoes, which I appreciated because I have a light carpet. Although I did not get resolution, the agent explained what my problem was and that I had had 15 days to report damage. I really do not know how I got the damage as it just appeared without specific incident. November 24, 2013
Problems getting service scheduled This is the first time I've had problems getting prompt service. It took several emails, phone calls,and online ticket submissions from Sept to Nov 21 when two windows were finally repaired. I did appreciate it very much that Milgard didn't cancel on Nov 21st when there was snow on the ground and it was 7 degrees.I felt so sorry for the technician, it was a brutal morning. This service was great!! The Milgard service tech was excellent. He would call to let me know he was on his way, arriving promptly and completing the service so professionally and quickly. He always wore shoe booties in the house, and is so polite. I wish all my services were that professional and prompt, it's very hard to find these days so I truly appreciate it. I wish all companies were as responsive and responsible as Milgard Based on the quality of our windows and the warranty, that we actually weren't aware of until we called, if I build another home, it will certainly have Milgard windows. I wouldn't consider using anyone other than Milgard - and we have a lot of windows! I wish we were as pleased with other companies and their products as we are with Milgard. November 23, 2013
Great and responsive service! I've used Milgard on many projects as COO of several SF Bay Area home builders. I was impressed enough with their product that I purchased their windows through a local contractor to install in my own home. The product is great and their service is second to none. Service in total is somewhat disappointing. Initially, my contact with customer service was via email. Over several weeks and as I remember, several followup emails, I finally received a call from a representative. We scheduled an appointment about a month out. Just prior to the scheduled technician visit a followup/reminder call was received to confirm the repair visit. A nice young man arrived explained the mechanical issue with our casement windows. He replaced the crank openers but did not have the CRITICAL WORN ITEM on hand. He promised to have the 2 small slide pieces mailed to me. It has been over 2 weeks and the promised repair items have NOT been mailed. I am forced now to repeat the contact effort for customer service. SAD INDEED! November 23, 2013

Excellent Everything was done just as I requested. The first visit a small window was replaced but the installer was not satisfied with the quality of the larger panes (scratched) to be installed. As soon as possible, for my schedule, the larger panes were installed. All workers were efficient and professional. Thank you for your response to my request. Better service isn't possible. Service on our window replacement was all I expected and more. The tech was efficient and friendly. He gladly explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Wonderful service!! I would recommend milgard windows for anybody replacing or placing new windows. The lifetime warranty is entirely true and it is a no fuss service. I e-mailed milgard that a window seal was broken and in two weeks the window was replaced no questions asked. The tech was 10 minutes early took less than 20 minutes to replace the glass, asked if he could do anything else for me and I was on with my day...What a pleasure to deal with this company!! Service Was Excellent Initial call to determine trouble with 8" Slider. Then fixed 14 windows that were hard to open because lock was catching. Returned 1 month later to repair slider door. Removed door, replaced track and wheels on bottom of door. Total Time 45 Min. Used to require 2 hands to open door, now can do with one finger. Tech on First Service (OS), did excellent job in diagnosing trouble with slider and ordering Parts. He then fixed all the windows. First time I have been able to open all windows without extreme grunt work. The second Techs (??) also did an excellent job fixing the slider. Extremely satisified with the experience working with Milgard on the initial call and the 2 tech visits. Would definitely recommend Milgard Products. November 21, 2013

Milgard definitely stands behind their product I am in the process of replacing about 70 "new-construction" aluminum windows in one of my projects. I have installed about 10 of these windows so far and ended up with about 1/2" water between the dual-panes in one of the fixed windows after a hard rainstorm (all of the other windows are perfect). I called Milgard and they set up an appointment to have a technician come out to inspect (and repair/replace if necessary). The technician arrived within the scheduled 2-hour time slot, inspected the window quickly to confirm a seal leak ... and replaced the entire dual pane assembly without disturbing the frame ... all within about 20 minutes. He was in and out quickly, left the surrounding area clean ... and even cleaned the glass after installation. It looks just like brand new again. Of course, it was covered under Milgard's warranty. Service was great. Too bad it was needed. No complaints about the service...the corrections were simple and everything looks great. But the defects were issues with assembly and should have been corrected at the factory. Instead, valuable time was wasted by me, the salesman, and the service rep. November 21, 2013
