Double Pane Window Seal Failure The seal on the stationary glass panel failed causing mold to start growing between the glass. I called for warranty replacement. The replacement service took a couple of weeks but the service was excellent. They replaced the window and hauled away the failed pane at no charge. October 10, 2013
Deanna in Cust. Serv. was very professional. Deanna, listen to my problem regarding the window seal issue. She looked up my account and immediately ordered a replace. She scheduled the installation of the replacement window. She is a credit to your organization. The installers arrived as scheduled. They replaced the window and cleaned up after finishing installation. The work was completed less than 1/2 hour. I will recommend milgard windows to my friends. October 10, 2013

The service has been terrible from working with service coordinator to delivery by service tech!!! The service was done incorrectly, took a long time and had to spend way too much time trying to resolve problem. Problem is still not resolved. Very dissappointed in Milgard Service. Scheduling service a nightmare When I called to schedule someone to come out and fix my windows, the person taking the call was terrible. She had me search for numbers that weren't there, then measure the windows and was not specific on what she wanted measured. I would think Milgard has a record of all the windows in new homes. I did not have to go through any of this the last time I called for service. Also, the wait time to have the windows fixed was VERY long. When the service man came, he was great. Fast, efficient and friendly. Couldn't ask for more than that. As for recommending this service, what choice do i have. The windows are gauranteed for life I was told. I'm not planning to pay for service if it's not necessary. October 10, 2013
Best Service EVER! My initial contact took some time due to some confusion, but after contact was established, It went AWESOME! I have worked in an industry where I delt with contractors and even then, they could not compare to the service I received from Milgard! I have had the best time opening my windows that I forget how easily they open now and start to use 2 hands. The tech was very informative and detailed as to what I needed to maintain HEALTHY windows. It was very SIMPLE, FAST and most of all EASY as the tech was very prepared. But I did realize after he left that I had a window done that was not on my list and now must request service again. Not worried as I know that I will be HIGHLY SATISFIED! October 10, 2013

Superb Support by Patti and the team of Steve and Brad I've had numerous contacts with Patti, Steve, and Brad over the years. Five star ratings are not high enough for these three individuals. They are all superbly courteous and exceptionally helpful and professional. Steve and Brad have come to my house on several occasions to replace windows. The latest encounter was on 9 October 2013. Steve and Brad have always been extremely courteous, helpful, and professional. They're always on time for appointments, or they give plenty of notice if they're running late. These two guys are star performers in representing Milgard. Patti also! I can always rely on them to answer every question, be totally courteous and professional, and they know their stuff well! My hat's off to all three of these individuals. It's because of them that I will continue to purchase Milgard windows and always refer others to Milgard. Repairs Done! I described the problem on the two slider windows and the phone rep knew exactly what was going on. In his database he found me, my home and the exact rooms and windows I was talking about...scary competence since I bought my home with the Milgard windows seven years ago. He said they were backed up Smith for scheduling a tech visit or he could mail the parts to me with the repair instructions. I chose the tech visit to make sure it was done properly. A month later the tech got it done, in and out of the house in 15 minutes. Total cost: $0. When they say lifetime warranty, they mean it! October 10, 2013
Great Communication Tech was running late because another job took a little longer than expected, he contacted me and made sure to let me know of his timeframe. Got there and installed the replacement and was off without a hitch. Great service! October 10, 2013

The service was excellent! The technician (whose name I did not get) was prompt, courteous and efficient. He cleaned up after himself and asked about any other concerns with the windows. I memtioned that they were too tight for me to lower and latch. He investigated, identified the problem and said he would return with looser springs at a later date. Prompt and Professional The gentleman arrived early but called firs to ensure we were available. He was courteous, responsive and clearly knew what he was doing. There was no service After waiting over two weeks for someone to call me, someone finally did call me and said he could come out in 17 MORE DAYS. I told him that I called another window company and that he came out and fixed my window in one day. I paid him $125 to fix my window. So much for the lifetime warranty. Very happy with service! We are the second owners of our home. After moving in we realized 3 windows were not working properly. I called Milgard & the rep was great! Fantastic service, easily my best experience in decades in any industry or country. It's a well integrated and mature process. Whereas other companies will bicker about whether the damage is covered by their warranty or guarantees, Milgard had no issues. Everything was straightforward. I especially liked how I initiated contact via the web and Milgard representatives immediately followed up via email. All aspects of the process was conducted via email except the actual fixed window. Milgard anticipated what questions I might have and gave excellent instructions on how to measure my window or identify my order. As a bonus, they provided the name and a photograph of the tech who would show up to fix my window. He was on time and did an excellent, professional job. I guess the best thing that I can say about it all was that this is how I would want to treat my customers were I setting up a warranty process. Great Warranty, Great Service! Milgard provides an excellent product warranty and they honor it! After 11 years in our house, we had to replace seven dual-pane window inserts, because they had grown foggy. Two of the windows had window-tint film, so they were out of warranty; but the replacement cost was very reasonable. The other five windows were replaced by Milgard with ZERO cost to us, not even an installation charge. They make a great product and they back it up! October 9, 2013

There was no service provided. No one responded to my initial email and phone requests. When I finally got someone on the phone she said everyone was really busy but she'd take down my information and resubmit it. A few days later I receive an email suggesting I look at an online video. So basically, after multiple attempts I am left with windows that don't work properly and no support from Milgard. October 9, 2013
Service was great. It did take two visits to fix the problem. The installed lifter components never worked well. The time to fix the actual problem was minimal. October 9, 2013
