Very impressed with service!! The Milgard garden window was installed some time ago and the gas leaked out of the main piece of glass. The replacement was terrific from start to finish. The rep responded to my voicemail promptly and scheduled the repair at a convenient time for me. The two service technicians arrived exactly on time and were very professional. They were able to replace the glass in less time than I thought possible. I once again have a clear, perfect view of my back yard. I would recommend Milgard without any reservations. Took 3 visits to get it right First of all when they came out, they didnt have the right part to fix my window. They said they needed to order the part. I set up a new appt. A week or so before the appt. i had a voicemail saying they were going to push out the appt by a week. When they came out the 2nd time, they had ordered the wrong part so he said they would have to reorder the right part. When i went to make the 3rd appt., they couldn't get out to our home for two weeks. When they came out the 3rd time, the window was fixed. The technicians were all very nice but a different technician every time. I scheduled my calendar around these visits and i was very disappointed that they did not move my appointment up after what was clearly an error on the Tech's part. My time is valuable too. Highly recommend They were very friendly, efficient in installing my windows quickly & the windows put in were of very high quality & clean unlike a different window installer I used for another window previously (where it came in really dirty & once I cleaned the dirt off found a scratch so now I'm sure to use Milgard I can trust.) Very happy overall; especially with the lifetime warrantee as they've been great about honoring a previous warrantee experience. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is it took a while to get through on the phone to customer service the first 2 times I called. Was better the 3rd time after told them about my experience. June 7, 2013

Excellent warranty service We built our house 24 years ago using all Milgard windows. Over the years the seals failed on several of the windows allowing moisture to build up between the panes and several other windows looked like they had a light coating of dust between the panes. Milgard's website informed me that the company provides the original owner a lifetime warranty on windows made after 1987, so I submitted a service request over the internet. The technician Milgard sent to my home confirmed that the windows I pointed out needed to be repaired. Milgard's customer service scheduled a return visit and all of the defective windows were replaced free of charge. All the Milgard employees I came into contact with were professional and efficient, and I am very pleased with the company's warranty service. June 7, 2013

Victor was great! Milgard windows are guarenteed forever!! We needed 3 windows replaced after 5 years. There was a little bit of fog in them. We called for service, no problem. Very impressed with service and professionalism! We had window replaced that was broken by kids throwing ball. I was so impressed with the quality of service and ease it was to have the window replaced. I was also pleasantly surprised that the cost was so reasonable. Quality is why I purchased Milgard, service is why I will buy them again! Scheduler seemed uninformed. Ordered a single screen rather than a double. Service tech had to make several trips out here to resolve issues that could have been resolved with better communication. It was very inconvenient to meet the service person everytime. No notice that they were on their way was disappointing. Service tech left message but no phone # to contact him back. June 7, 2013
The service was great however the security bar will not go completely down. Will call tomorrow to ask if there is a shorter security bar as the original bar will no longer completely seat since the new glass was installed. June 7, 2013

Nice guys and great service! I opened the door and the guys were already putting their booties on! I said no worrries...I have hardwood floors. They solved all of the issues on my punch list and now everything is working properly. They double and triple checked everything to make sure it was working perfect before they left the house. Service was good once delivered Had to wait nearly a month from initial request to resolution due to the wrong window being sent with tech first time. Delay was tolerable but not desirable given the location and appearance of the faulty window. June 6, 2013

Service on a 20+ year window My open/close mechanism failed. We could not get the window open. I called Milgard and talked to a very nice rep on the phone. I was told I could have an appointment very soon, but, that didn't work for my schedule. We settled in on an appt that was still only a week away. The service tech showed up. Clean. Not a bum like some techs. Up we went to the window. Within minutes the window was good as new. He then asked if I had any more problems. I told him that my wife has trouble opening up one of the single hung windows downstairs. We were off to the windows. He showed me how to take them apart and clean and lube them. Said if I didn't feel comfortable doing that - he'd be back to do it for me. Great phone techs, great in home techs. I can't believe anyone uses anything but Milgard for their windows. June 6, 2013

Great service - exceeded expectations I had a leaking skylight. When I reported it to Milgard they immediately set up a service call to my house. Upon arrival they realized they had brought the wrong replacement unit, but still analyzed the situation and told me what I needed to do to prepare for their return. On the second visit the crew successfully replaced the leaking skylight. It was 90+ degrees in direct sun, and the crew worked safely and diligently to get the job done. June 6, 2013
