Low-E double paned windows excellent for hot climates I installed the Low-E double-paned windows throughout my entire house in the California desert. They dramatically improved insulation and energy efficiency. I installed a slightly thicker double pane on the side of the house near the air-compressor and that reduced the outside noise substantially. Windows are solid and well built feeling. I would recommend this product. October 23, 2012
Great product, excellent service from Kent at Jayco. Great product, excellent service from Kent at Jayco. Smooth action, tight seal, and the best latches. August 28, 2012
Love my new windows! We saw these windows while touring an upscale builder's recent project and liked the look of quality and ease of use. I researched online and saw more great reviews and was also impressed by handles approved by arthritis groups. We ended up replacing all windows in our 1970s home with Milgard. August 28, 2012
Very Pleased We like the windows' appearance and performance. One of the benefits we had not anticipated is the quiet: BIG difference. If we have any criticism, it is minor: We would have preferred for the sliding lock feature to be capable to being engaged at various open positions so we can "lock" a window partially open. one dislike Your crack handles are not elegant. They stick out like a sore thumb. Why haven't you design handles that fold in on one another (is the term nested) I have some Marvin casement windows and I like the handles far better. March 30, 2012
Not satisfied with the product I have had to replace four windows on a 11/13 year old house. Think $750.00 is quite extreme for three small windows. March 30, 2012
Best windows on the market. My Milgard widows turned out to be the most important and efficient project in my effort to greatly improve my home heating and cooling efficiency, I recommend them to friends and family whenever the topic of re-modeling comes up. Thanks ! April 2, 2012
Everything about the windows are excellent except the I didn't get my $150.00 rebates. I have nothing to complain except my $150 rebates that I didn't get. March 31, 2012
Allows wind driven rain to puddle in bottom rail This product allows wind driven rain to enter the house by collecting in the bottom rail. The water puddles in the rail until it can drain back outside through seep holes. The rail channel remains damp hours after the rain has stopped. It is especially a problem on the south side of the house facing the bay. I was told by Milgard that this is an engineered feature. I never would have purchased this product had I known about this splish splash feature. March 31, 2012
Well made, good looks. So far so good after a few months. We really like how the windows can un-hinge for cleaning. Screens are quite difficult to remove. March 30, 2012
