ease of use
I had a double hung glazed window installed in our masterbath and it is great to have the ability to open the window from the top down to get air and still have privacy. It slides easily and locks into place securely

A huge investment for us but absolutely worth it.
We had 13 windows to replace and paid cash so we replaced our windows in groups. After the first set of windows was replaced it was difficult to wait to replace the next. Very often I think how much it was absolutely worth replacing our windows. The windows have been hassle free and our local service provider has been great. Two of the 13 needed Miligard service after installation but they were very large cassment windows and the issues were minor. One trip by Miligard and fixed. I have not been disappointed with our Miligard windows and would recommend them to you.

Nice replacement windows, sliding patio door
Windows were a nice replacement. 3DMAX with bronze tinting really made a difference in limiting heat on South-facing side of the house.
Patio door works well. As a retrofit, the threshold is noticeably higher than new construction door threshold. Latch to open and close door is not quite intutitive: is it push to lock or push to open? By comparison, the latches for the windows are very intuitive.

Milgard products are great in construction and quality
Great products with better then average service. I've installed 12 windows so far and no problems what so ever. 2 more to go. Very quiet and cuts the heat and cold by a large percentage. We love our Milgard Tuscany windows and slider doors!
Our older home (1971) had windows and slider doors that leaked air and wasted heat and a/c. Our new custom Tuscany windows are beautiful, they do not leak air anywhere, we save on our energy bills, they have made the rooms temperature constant, and are easy to open and enjoy. The warranty is the best in the industry, which is understandable because they are such excellent windows they don't have to worry about repairs/replacements so are able to offer a full lifetime warranty.

Great quality for a vinyl window
We had Tuscany windows and sliding French door installed in 2008 and they are super easy to operate, very quiet and energy efficient. We liked them so much we had Montecito windows put in our garage two years later.

Great Product
I purchased the Tuscany Horizontal Sliding Windows to replace existing aluminum windows which were single pane with an interior storm window. I purchased the windows through a local lumber co. The representative was knowledgeable about the product and was helpfull in preparing the order. The windows were manufactured and delivered in accordance with the schedule he had given to me. All the windows were manfactured in accordance with the dimensions I had supplied. Installation went very well.

Quality and affordability!

easy to operate
We replaced our old Atrium windows with Tuscany Vinyl Replacement Windows last October and we are very happy with them. They open and close smoothly and look very nice, as does the patio door. We replaced the patio door and love the fact that the handle locks easily when closing, it also opens and closes smoothly. Hoping this summer we will really feel a difference when temperatures get hotter. This winter we didnt have to have our heat on as much even though we had record low/freezing temps in Phoenix this year.

These windows & doors are beautiful.
We chose these windows & sliding doors for efficiency in keeping the heat in and the cold out. They are as beautiful as they are functional. There were many styles to choose from as well as type. They are extremely easy to open and close. The product quality is superior and we expect to receive many great years using and looking at our new windows & doors.

window rails fell out after a few years
I purchased a new home in 2006 with the windows installed. Recently i opened a vertical window and the metal rails and pully system, which keeps the window open, fell out. There are no instructions available to reinstall and service the window on the website. Looking at a schematic may be great for an engineer or contractor, but it doesn't help the homeowner.

What an improvement to the overall look and function of our home!
We replaced all 26 windows in our home with the Tuscany Series,...several different types including single hung, double hung, sliding and picture windows. We looked for months and considered just about every option, went to many showrooms and looked at (and opened and closed) about every brand of window out there. We could not be happier than we are with the Milgard Tuscany series! The quality, the look, the energy efficiency. We love the ease of opening and closing the windows, they glide so smoothly, yet are solid, and the locking mechanism is awesome. We had one double hung window that had a small problem with one of the inside pieces being broken off of the guide so the installer made a call to Milgard. Milgard contacted me the next day and came out within a week (they could have come sooner but my schedule could not accomodate) and fixed it on the spot! We could not be happier and our house could not look better!

Great Product
The Tuscany Series windows look great and are very easy to use. The windows are very solid and you can tell right away that high quality products were used to manufacture the windows. There is no comparison to the windows sold off the shelf at local stores. The noise reduction these windows provide are reason enough to purchase them. I am so glad I chose these windows.

Good quality
My old windows were only 23 yrs.old. They were aluminum single hung but were double paned. Such a difference in quality with the new Styleline and Tuscany windows (i have both in my 2 story house.) They are new construction and I think they are great.

Great Sound proofing and lower heating bills
After having all of our windows replaced, we have noticed a dramatic improvement in sound as well as Heating and cooling costs.

Great looking, solidly built, a HUGE improvement to our home

We LOVE our new Milgard windows
We love our new Tuscany windows as they exceeded our expectations in all respects. Beautiful to look at AND use
Milgard Windows are both beautiful to look at, and to use...featuring quality construction at a reasonable/good price point, we are absolutely THRILLED with Milgard's Tuscany Series.
We replaced 15 windows in our 23 year old home with Milgard's and the QUIETNESS of the windows, not to mention their insulating capabilities are both noteworthy....
Even BETTER - Milgard CUSTOM designed a combination fixed-pane/slider window in an unusual trapezoidal shape for us in approximately two weeks for only a couple hundred extra for the fixed pane option - now we have the attractive shape, larger window AND ventilation for our loft-space buildout. KUDOS to Milgard for not batting an eye at our semi-custom request!!!

Beautiful and Smart!
We replaced all the windows and sliders in our home this summer with the Tuscany Vinyl Series. The windows are so beautiful and open so smoothly and easily! But these are not just good looking windows, they are "smart", too! Smart in that they have lowered our energy bill already, as well as made our home so much quieter. We would recommend these windows to anyone thinking of replacing old windows and sliders.

The Milgard Tuscany series windows are a great return on investment.
The Tuscany series windows provided unique features that we were looking specifically for in our upgrade. We upgraded all of our windows because of the style, features, warranty and price allowing a total energy efficient upgrade to an older home without over investing. Living in the southwest these windows with the Low E glass are just the ticket for the harsh summer sun but during winter allows ample light to pass thru. One window out of the 15 did have a problem so we contacted customer service. Milgard's response was prompt, courteous resolving the minor problem in a timely manner. These windows also are really attractive from the street adding a clean, crisp and value added perspective to the presentation of the property. Thanks Milgard!

Everything but the screens have been top notch.
We have been very satisfied with both the easy of installation (I installed them myself) and quality of the windows. However some of the screens don't fit and a few screens pulled loose from there frames before or shortly after installation.

What an improvement
We bought a house about 13 months ago and it had 40 year old aluminum windows. I didn't know how poorly they'd aged when we purchased the house. There was one heat wave last summer that was so bad the house got up to 90 degrees inside. Then the Fall came and the windows would rattle in the Santa Ana winds. It would keep us awake and it was obvious that they were not really keeping the wind out. All of the windows would rattle anytime we slammed the front or back door.
Finally we decided to look into purchasing the new windows in March. We found the Tuscany series windows and the sales rep from a local supply company highly recommended these. She said it would keep the house more comfortable, the noise level would go down and they'd look great. They were more than we thought, but based on the reputation of Milgard and their warranty, we decided to use the Tuscany windows.
Indeed, the noise level was noticeable different. The windows also have a slight tint, so the sunlight is not so bright. I really like the quality of the light coming through. Our summer, so far, has been much more comfortable. Our electric bills seem about the same, though. They also look wonderful. I'm so glad we purchased these.
I was skeptical because the supplier and the installer said the installation of the whole house could be done in a day. It's true! In fact, they came at 7 AM and were done by 3PM.

Nice Windows
I purchased these windows to replace a one piece window on the second story of our house. We did this for ease of cleaning and allowing air flow in that area of the house. The windows look nice and are easy to clean because of the double hung feature. The counter balance and the locking system work very well. The only concern I have is possibly with the quality, although it may be unfounded. My reasons for concern are that one of the windows I received had a broken frame and the frame seemed thin. I also get a lot of flexing in the frame when I push on the tab to open the top window. I'm concerned that it may crack over time. On the positive, the company replaced the window without issue and we also liked that we could get the outside of the window painted in brown. So far we are very happy with these windows and would highly recommend them.
