What do you have to do?
To qualify for up to $1,500 on your 2009 taxes, your new Milgard Windows must be installed by December 31, 2009. Installation times are filling up fast, so select the "Act Now" button to get started. The sooner you act, the sooner you can start saving.
The federal tax credit can save you up to $1500 if your windows and doors meet the qualifying efficiency requirements. The tax credit is part of the Economic Stimulus Plan (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009)1, which extends federal tax credits to "qualified energy improvements" for 2009 and 2010. The tax credit allows you to receive up to 30% of the amount paid for the qualifying product, or up to $1500 total maximum credit for any and all improvements.
Here's how to qualify for the tax credit:
1 Based on the best data available, this information is a partial summary of the revisions to the federal tax code (U.S. Code Title 26, Section 25C), as updated by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
