Casement Window – Thermally Improved Aluminum3

Thermally Improved Aluminum Windows – Strength and value, a sleek frame for maximizing light and view.

Milgard's thermally improved aluminum casement window provides excellent ventilation, has no rail to obstruct views and puts the screen on the inside where it doesn't get as dirty.

Benefits

Thermally Improved Aluminum Casement Window
  • Get real durability. Milgard's sealed, mechanically joined corners stay square and true over years of use.
  • Discover the beauty of the clean, narrow sight lines that only the strength and stability of aluminum can provide.
  • Keep your home comfortable in all weather. Milgard's high-performance thermal-break frame design delivers an improved thermal rating and higher energy efficiency.
  • Reduce energy consumption with our standard SunCoat® Low-E insulating glass or the SunCoatMAX® option, which provides protection against fabric fading.
  • A higher (C30) structural rating makes these windows ideal for light commercial buildings (schools, restaurants and government), as well as homes.
  • Allow maximum ventilation with Milgard jamb hinges that open completely outward.
  • Enjoy the convenience of the Milgard Positive Action™ lock, which automatically locks when you slide the window shut.
  • Have custom made to your home's exact specifications at no extra charge or extended lead time.

Additional Glass Options – For even higher performance, Milgard offers these door and window glass options.

  • Tempered – Tempered glass is extremely strong and often used for its safety characteristics. Not only is it extra strong, but when it breaks, it breaks into little pebble-like pieces without sharp edges. Tempered glass is ideal for reducing the likelihood of injury in the event of breakage in applications like patio doors, side lights and bathroom enclosures for showers and tubs.
  • Laminated – Laminated glass is highly effective in reducing noise. It also eliminates 99.9% of ultraviolet rays, providing the highest degree of protection from the sun for your home furnishings. Concerned about excessive outdoor noise? Get the utmost protection against noise with our Sound Control Windows.
  • Argon/Air Mix – Optional argon gas, used between panes, is also available to further improve thermal performance.
