Rated 1 out of 5 by from milgard has no regard for there customers I am a builder and I bought windows and milgard only sent out 5 of the 6 and anytime they are not going to be able to ship them out on time no emails nothing and then they don't even try to make it right with the customers they held my job up for over 8 weeks because the cant handle the work load. ultimately I will never do business with Milgard again because they have worthless and irresponsible business practices

Rated 1 out of 5 by from window has no flange Bad review denied! Window has no mounting flange. You should not be allowed to sell these. How does it seal out water? Window has a sticker that says to go to web site for instructions, but those instructions cannot be found on web site for the flangeless window. Like I said before, LAME.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor We build a new home and our builder recommended Milgard windows and doors. This is our third home to Build and we are extremely disappointed in the quality, I would never ever recommend this company. These are the issues: Windows that open up and down show this shocking brushed seal of grey bristles with ledges that have flys and bugs trapped that you can’t clean out EVER !!! Our patio doors had gobs of glue or something between the panels of glass, and of course how would you ever be able to get that out. Also when installed the panels of glass had chips and scratches on them. The quality is totally shocking!! Please never use this company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just ordered these today!Having owned them before Had a home in Utah with retrofit Tuscany white windows. You would be hard pressed to buy a better window. My concern is I ordered Stylelines for a new home in NV. With the blazing heat did I make the right choice to save 15 percent? Pros for Milgard the white is one purest colorants I have seen on a window and the ingredients are better than another brand being pushed hard in my area. Having owned the other brand and using them it's easy to say no and order Milgard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking and easy to open! I love my new windows. They look great and are so easy to open. They make a difference by muffling outside noise too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slide easily & look but condensation between panes Bought 2 Milgard large sliding windows then bought another. They look great & slide easily. They clean well. But, on the stationary windows of the big ones, the spaces between the two panes trap water when it's moist outside. It takes a long time for the condensation to dissipate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good looking vinyl window Installed two of these windows to replace old single pane windows in a house built in 1972. Fairly easy to install and really cuts back on noise from the street and helps keep the rooms warm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from GARBAGE!!!!! For 2 weeks my order was not processed because the order was lost in someone's email at Milgard. Aaron Lee RUDE!!!!! spoke over me every time I tried to get a word in. 5 of 6 windows were delivered, late! and one was forwarded to a different city (Sacramento) to process because their Semi Valley location keep breaking the material. I wonder why I was able to get some, so now I'm worried that their quality is garbage too. Oh wait, I know they're garbage because after this review I have to call service to have someone come out and fix them because they're CROOKED! and the bottom rail is exaggeratedly lifted. And they wonder why I called upset, 8 plus weeks for 6 windows and I still don't have them all. We thought it would be a good idea to spend a little more to get a good window. I would have been better off with a Home Depot off the shelf window!!!!!! Plus terrible customer service!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sun Coat is great I only bought two windows on our weather side of our house. Love the windows, the only problem is I had Insulate windows before and the Milgard windows do not fit so they had to fill in a space. The workers were great and did a wonderful job finishing the trim and adding the strip to the inside of the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet at last! The single pane windows were at the end of life. We could hear every car coming by as well as people talking on the sidewalk. Now we finally have a quieter house. The windows really improve the appearance of the house. These are quality windows and we’re glad we made the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Sound Reduction and good insulation The windows installed blocked out noisy neighbors with screaming kids and loud music. The windows keep the house cool in the summer and retain the temperature at night. They are easy to open and are extremely secure. They are beautiful too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Windows I just got them installed 2 days ago. I still need the stucco work done. I already believe that they are really going to make a difference in keeping the heat out in summer, and the cold out in the winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Residential Homeowner I am disabled and a Senior. I live in Arizona. These new windows are Energy Star and required by the City of Scottsdale Housing Rehabilitation Program. What I have found is that the window latch to open and close the window is user friendly for the disabled. One window screen makes it easier to remove for cleaning. The window tint is pleasing to the eye. With the direct sun shining on the windows there is not glare.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful windows but don’t purchase When we decided to build our forever home at the coast, we fully researched windows all the way from the East coast to the West coast. After researching and speaking with our contractor, we decided to purchase all Milgard casement windows and French doors. Our contractor highly recommended Milgard stating that he really likes the company and their standards. This being said, few if any, of what the company said was accurate. I understand hiring new people, but if they don’t know what they are talking about, they need to find the answer before giving one to the customer. We asked for special Sized French doors that swing out, so we don’t loose space on the interior of the small home. The representative stated we could have any size we wanted and they would be ready in three weeks. This was a direct statement from the Milgard service representative. So, we ordered the windows and special doors. Three weeks later the windows arrive, but no doors. After calling a Milgard area service rep to find the doors, we were told that all doors take a minimum of 5weeks for special orders and our doors were only one week late. We explained what the service representative told us and the area representative said that they would never say this. NOT TRUE. I know what I heard. we explained that we held onto a type of crane to lift the windows and this cost us A LOT of money. We wouldn’t have done that had we known. The area representative said that Milgard might compensate us for one week but not three because no one from Milgard would tell us the doors would be ready at the same time as the windows; basically calling me a liar. So, we go to put in the doors and they don’t fit! Seems the service representative was WRONG AGAIN. the French doors can be sized for width only, but the height is standard only. So, our contractor cut the doors out to fit what we were told we could do. Now he had to go back and reframe the doors which cost us more time and money. But that’s not all. Three of the windows frames were cracked and had to be sent back! When the contractor contracted Milgard we were told that we needed to return them and they would make some more, but AFTER they completed their other orders. That we were at the back of the que to wait, again. We asked why when this was not our fault and now we are basically behind schedule 6 weeks because of their errors. No one responded. Well, today the area representative returned the contractors call to basically say that Milgard isn’t going to make things right, pay for the crane, or speed up our windows. Basically, Milgard took our money and dusted their hands. I looked up their site and on it Milgard has a set of values, one of which talks about integrity and timelines. Basically these are just words with no truth to back them up. To say I am unhappy with Milgard is putting it mildly. If I could, I’d return every last door and window, but I suspect Milgard knows a customer can’t and won’t do that so they are at the mercy of Milgard and their lack of ethics. I realize this is long but I want other potential customers to know what happened to us and to rethink purchasing from Milgard. While the windows are beautiful I believe that a person can get just as good from another company who truly has integrity and the customer at the heart of their business. What I keep thinking is that if anything happens to these windows Milgard will never stand behind their warranty because it will be the customers fault. Please potential clients, go elsewhere. I wish I had. My house is now a minimum of one month behind and it’s due to Milgard. Hope this helps someone else so they don’t experience the same thing. Oh, and our contractor isn’t going to use Milgard anymore because of this, and he builds a lot of houses.
