Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Door. This door is more solid that he solid door that we replaced. I didn't think that possible. We absolutely love it!! it looks perfect like it always belonged there. The added screen feature we are for sure going to love this summer! Everything came pre-installed, all we did was put it in the hole in the house, and poof it was perfect! My only problem was figuring out how to operate the handles. That was a learning curve, as we had no directions included with our door. When we figured this out, it was a very impressive door, with amazingly secure feel. Would order from Milgard over and over! Thanks!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Customer Service Getting in touch with Milgard is a nightmare. No one calls back, phone calls get dropped, when you do speak with someone, they don't follow through. Incredibly frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New face lift for my house! I love the new windows and customized beautiful front door. We get so many compliments. My home looks newer and fresher and feels cooler too. The only thing that I was disappointed was that my front door is a little smaller than normal but its gorgeous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive, seems to be well made This window was installed yesterday and the sliding window on each side is "very" difficult to slide back and forth. Seems to be hung up on the felt strip. Once the windows are closed, it is difficult to open.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nine new nail on Ultra Good solid looking product, however, some initial build quality/install concerns. One of the new nine windows is missing screen pins and pin holes appear damaged prior to delivery. Three of the four slider windows with positive lock latches do not latch properly and don't appear to be adjustable. One of the sliders only has two glider wheels on the bottom of the sliding panel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great door We purchased this door after the 1st one we ordered did not meet our expectations. The quality of this door is 100% better. Am so happy with the door. Installation, appearance and quality is wonderful. Would recommend this door to anyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ultra Series Patio Doors We bought these doors to replace metal clad wood core patio doors. We loved our metal doors but they were rusting on the edge so we decided to go with fiberglass. Disappointing when the installer had to make shift due to measurement errors by the dealer. We now have to refinish indoor trim which doesn't match our existing trim and is much wider. Trim also is not oak to match the remainder of our home. Also we need to do silicone plugs in our vinyl siding on the exterior where the nails damaged the siding. I don't know who is at fault--the dealer for measuring incorrectly or the installer. We also wanted satin nickel finish for the hardware but were told at the time of the order it's not available on this type so we had to choose brushed chrome. Disappointing given the price we paid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Un-freaking-believable! Just had my french doors installed today. I'm dumb founded that Milgard would even ship out a door of this quality. First thing first, the cuts on the door aren't even straight. It looks like it was chewed up by a dull saw. There's a good quarter of an inch gap at the top of the door because of the uneven cut. Second, the window trim wasn't installed correctly. Those, too, have a gap between pieces and very sharp edges sticking out. To top it off, the strike is not retracting... so here I sit in 99 degree weather with a door that I can't get closed because the tape that was used to hide the defect melted off. The installer says it's a manufacturer defect, so they can't help me. Would anyone mind telling me how I'm supposed to secure my house tonight??? We thoroughly enjoyed spending 30 minutes cleaning off all the glue too... so thanks for that! I did not work this hard and spend thousands of dollars to have a door installed that's nearly in as bad of shape as the one I replaced. I certainly hope you plan to make this right!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Door Removed old door and Installed new door in approximately 4 hours. Solid door was easy to install for my wife and I. Fiberglass frame that had small scratches from shipment, nothing too large, just wondering if there is a paint color code or name that I can use to cover scratches?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good looking windows, service less than ideal The black fiberglass windows look great, and I believe they will be great for insulation. However, when purchased, the wrong color latches and strike plates were installed, and we're still waiting for the correct color strike plates 3 months later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made Window These windows are so well made. I'm completely happy with them. They were fabricated without a flaw. The sound transmission thru them is so much better than the previous Aluminum sliders. I would definitely recommend these windows to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great French doors that come with multi-point lock We installed two sets of Ultra Series Out-Swing French Doors, and they're wonderful. They come standard with a great multi-point lock system that easily locks both the active and passive door using the handle (rather than having to slide a bolt into the jambs). The multi-point lock also snugs the door up against the gaskets to seal it well. We looked at lots of brands of French doors, and the Ultra doors have the biggest viewable glass area, and have a flat frame around the glass (not a raised lip), which looks a lot better. The fiberglass frame also seems sturdier than vinyl, and is paintable. The doors comes standard with the handles and lock hardware, but it's expensive (about $250) to upgrade the handles to a metal rather than painted finish. But the painted black handles look nice, pretty much like dark bronze.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Customer Service I had a Milgard picture window installed. The window I believe may be defective and also was scratched. Milgard would not send some one to look at it. Basically said it was my problem. They told me to go back to the dealer. Their customer service was terrible. For a large American corporation this is unacceptable. I spent a lot of money on this window and wouldn't do it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Veneer Peeling Off Our Wood Clad windows are 12 years old. When the first veneer started peeling off several years ago (while still under warranty), I got the run-around from Milgard customer service. I was told to contact Milgard providers in the area, none of whom responded. Now 6 of the 10 windows have veneer that is completely off or is loosening. The windows still function reasonably well, but would not get Milgard again. Neither the product nor the customer service has held up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as what we saw in the showroom When paying over $3K for a standard size sliding glass door plus another $2,500 to install, we expected quality throughout. The door slides so stiff my wife needs two hands to open/close it. The demo-door at Home Depot slides effortlessly. The hardware is builder-grade and the installer used MDF twice the width of what we had. A light switch close to the prior millwork (stained, real wood) was partially covered by the new, wider molding which required the installer to cut the switch-plate cover in order for it to fit. We're happy to have our damaged door replaced, but when our front door gets replaced, we will not be using Home Depot and when we replace 7 windows this summer, won't be using Milgard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replace windows. 25 years after installed windows steaming up inside they replaced 8 windows. No issue. Great company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The doors are OK, but the service is terrible. I've outfit my entire home with Milgard products, including three Ultra Series Out-Swing French Doors. One of the window seals failed and when it rains, water streams into the home. It took me 4 months to schedule a warranty visit. When the arrived, they removed the window and purported to fix it -- but the fix failed. It took me another 4 months to get them to come back (and that was only after soliciting help via social media). This time, they said they would need to replace the door. It took them another 2 months to return, but they brought the wrong hand door. It's been another 2 months and I can't even reach a human on the phone. It doesn't matter much if the products are beautiful if the warranty service is an illusion. Very, very disappointed and considering all options on how best to get this resolved and hold Milgard accountable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great windows We’ve only had our new windows for 2 months but so far so good. I do open my windows quite often so I love the easy open latches.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my windows We love the look of our new windows and the small mesh of the screens. One complaint we have are the PLASTIC tabs for the screens and the PLASTIC pins for the awning window screens. Why would a company put in PLASTIC for this. The day we got our windows installed, two of the tabs were already broken! Other than that, they look fantastic and we would purchase them again. Took off one star because of that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great warranty Well made product. One of our sliders is difficult to remove.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Strikeplate is wrong size! It is very disappointing that I cant use my brand new doors because they made a mistake in measuring strikeplate opening so door doesn't work! It is currently taped shut waiting for milgard to come and fix it. So what do I think Milgard asks? I think it is outrageous that we paid $8000 for doors and they dont work. I gave it 2 stars because they are pretty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ultra Sliding door does not seal out weather This is our second house with Milgard the first was fantastic. We bought an Ultra slider in our new house because we wanted a more upscale finish. Well as soon as it got cold the wind blows right through the two doors as well as the top. I had Milgard out and they said it was structurally sound and they could not do anything. How can you sell a door that does not even stop the wind from coming through. I am spending much more heating my house than the old warped wood door. I would not buy the Ultra Fiberglass product it does not work. So disappointed as I had the whole rest of the house to do and now it won't match..
