(November 24, 2009) - Milgard Windows & Doors has added triple glazing as an option to its vinyl Tuscany™ Series replacement line, and its fiberglass Ultra™ and WoodClad™ Series windows and patio doors, creating clear energy performance advantages for homeowners. The three-pane options provide extra insulating opportunities without compromising interior style or exterior curb appeal.

With the triple-glazed option, most Ultra, WoodClad and Tuscany Series windows and doors meet the 2009/2010 Energy Tax Stimulus qualifications, and all are backed by Milgard's industry-leading Full Lifetime Warranty with Glass Breakage.

Homeowners have additional options such as upgrading to dual SunCoatMAX® Low-E glass, and in most elevations, argon gas blend for additional insulating performance and energy savings. Aesthetic options include obscure or patterned glass on the center pane and simulated divided lite grids will be introduced in 2010.
