Our unique Full Lifetime warranty is clear, easy to understand and comes with the best support in the industry. We’ll repair or replace any defect in materials or workmanship and will pay the costs of all parts and labor as long as the product purchaser is a homeowner.

Full Lifetime Warranty Details

  • Milgard will repair or replace any defect in materials or workmanship and will pay the costs of all parts and labor for as long as the purchaser owns his home.
  • This applies to residential products installed after 1/1/2012 in the U.S. and after 1/1/2011 in Canada. Some exclusions may apply.
  • Coverage extends 10 years from the start date of the original warranty to the successive owners, free of charge.

What products are covered?

  • The Milgard® Full Lifetime Warranty applies to windows and patio doors under the Tuscany® Series, Montecito® Series, Style Line® Series, Ultra™ Series, Essence Series® and Aluminum Series.
  • Glass Breakage Coverage is included on Tuscany® Series, Essence Series®, and Ultra™ Series products.
  • Moving Glass Wall Systems have a ten (10) year limited warranty.

How do I find my warranty?

  • Your Milgard Certified Dealer will provide you with a copy of your warranty completion of your window and patio door installation.
  • Be sure that you, or your Milgard Dealer, registers your warranty after the installation is complete so that we have your information on file if you ever need service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product & terrible service We purchased our newly built home 3 years ago that has Milguard windows. After the first year I noticed 3 of the windows looked like they have a pink haze on them I called customer service and within a few weeks they came out and changed the glass no problems. Fast forward a couple of years and I have the exact same issue on 6 different windows now. I called customer service and got scheduled a date for repair, several weeks out. The afternoon before they are to be at me house I get a call stating the glass wasn't ready and they need to re-schedule. I tell them fine I understand things happen. My re-scheduled date is set several for several weeks again. The night before they are to be at my house I get a call at 6pm with the exact same story. The glass isn't ready. I have had to make arraignments to take off of work 2 times now only to get a call the day before telling me they won't be there. They have sold a defective product and don't seem to mind inconveniencing their customer, 2 times. The lifetime warranty is a great thing to have because you will need it. Their customer service is terrible.

As distressing as it was that this was happening, it was a wonderful surprise that Milgard came through honoring their lifetime warranty. Milgard not only provided replacement windows but also paid for the replacement installation. Thank you, Milgard. I love my new windows even more then the originals!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brutally BAD sliding doors, screens and service! We built a house less than 2 years ago using all Milgard windows and sliding patio doors. The screens have never slid properly. Now some of the sliding doors are no longer working. Their representatives keep saying they will get someone out to handle the service, but we have been waiting for someone to show up to do any work for over 4 months this time around and we have requested service ever since we moved in. They keep saying their service department is overloaded - no wonder with all the problems we are having!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic costumer service! Such a fantastic experience. Hector, Mark and Paulino did a great job fixing our window and sliders. Mark worked hard on our large bathroom window and put new balancers in that are stronger. The window went up with easer and stayed up. Hector and Paulino replaced 2 parts on our sliders. By working even harder on the doors using ingenuity the doors were fixed and opened and closed with ease. All three of these hard workers were a pleasure to have work on my home. They truly cared about their workmanship. It's because of them that I will continue with the Milgard for replacing the rest or my windows and doors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent repair Our double door to the patio developed a failed lock handle, which needed complete repair. Just two days ago it was replaced and works great AGAIN. The rail slide was also replaced so that the whole arrangement is as new. GREAT service. JBW

Rated 2 out of 5 by from very poor quality control original window developed film. first two replacements brought to my home could not be installed because they were the wrong window. the third replacement has a flaw/mark between the panes of glass and now i have to go through the whole process again waiting for a correct replacement. the customer service reps on the phone are usually helpful, but i rate the quality control of the replacement product itself very poor. the customer service manager of the hollister service center has not returned my calls. :(

Robert arrived at our home and resolved a lock issue on our sliding glass door. He was very courteous, professional, and efficient. We have comfort knowing Milgard stands by their product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Milgard Warranty Service is excellent My house is 16 years old and it has the Milgard windows and patio doors. Recently, the patio sliding door is not sliding smoothly. I call the service department last week, an appointment was set up for today. Greg O. came to the house to check it out. As it turned out, the rail has been beat up over the years. He took the heavy door down, replaced the track and the rollers and also lubricated the locks. Now, it rolls so smoothly. Greg also explained to me on how to maintain it with silicon spray once every year. He is such a professional and a nice gentleman. I am very happy with the warranty service he has provided!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service all around I recently found out my windows have a lifetime warranty and since I had 2 windows with broken seals I called for replacements right away. Andy came out and measured, then within 3 weeks he was back with the replacements. He had the old windows out and the new windows in with 45 minutes. He also repaired a window that hasn’t ever worked quite right, has been repaired before. Andy was the first one to make it work correctly.

I bought over 30 windows and from the moment they were installed 10 handles came completely out of the frame. 10 months later and I cannot operate 10 of the windows that I bought. The service is horrible as I was promised it would be done by a certain date and now am being told to wait an additional 60 days on top of the promised date. If you are looking for defective items and service that takes months to get, as well as to be put on hold and given the run around constantly, this is the right product. Otherwise DO NOT BUY!!!!

He Did an EXCELLENT JOB! He fixed and replaced the windows that was on the schedule, and he fixed a window that wasn't on the schedule.We had a window that needed to be repaired, because every time the wind blew it howled. (He didn't say I will send paper work to my office, and they will send someone out to do that window.) He fixed it- he is a very professional employee. I would like his Boss to know this! Thank you Richard Pettyjohn!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to get good service I had some windows that had fogged, and so created a ticket online through the Milgard website. This was an easy process. I'm a bit impatient, so I called their service desk after a week or so. The lady on the phone was very nice, and friendly, and we talked a bit about my neighborhood, and the whole time she was working on setting up a service date for me. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but I was well pleased with her service. Today Marco showed up within the time window (and he even sent a text when he was 20 minutes out), and took care of the windows quickly, cleanly, and effectively. He was respectful, and cleaned up after himself, and did not give the impression that he was in a rush. I'm am very glad that we purchased Milgard windows 16 years ago! Great company, and awesome service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged Door 2yrs No Help Our sliding glass door was damaged during shipping. The door was installed by the Vendor despite the problems. After many months of inaction by the vendor I contacted Milgard directly. It took 2 months to get someone to come look at the door. The determination was door was working properly because the frame can't support the weight of a door this size. Which is why it would never open properly. There was also damage to the glass and frame. The tech said he would order the replacement and we would be contacted for an install date. After two months I had to contact Milgard to find out a status. I was told that the wrong door was delivered and they would get it corrected and scheduled and appointment. The only appointment date was another two months out. Before the date of the appointment Milgard called to confirm. The day of the appointment the tech called and said one of the installers was injured and they would need to reschedule. Reschedule for another six weeks out. Milgard confirms and the date of the appointment the tech calls and says it's the wrong product and it will need to be reordered and rescheduled, but that he would be the point person to get it done. Also he confirmed that the injury story was not accurate. They were reorganizing due to problems with service in Salt Lake. After no contact for weeks I all the tech and he said someone was supposed to call me. No one did. He had the Senior Service Coordinator Aleksey Golikov contact me. He went through the process of reordering the door and rescheduling an appointment, saying he would have a tech from Grand Junction come to Salt Lake for the install. Appointment was set, Milgard confirmed a few days before. Then at 10:00am on the date of the appointment I was contacted by Milgard service saying that they had the incorrect door so there was not going to be an install. After inaction and words the rep hung-up on me. I called the tech, the only person at Milgard you can reach directly, and he said two weeks earlier he had contacted people within Milgard to get the correct door prior to the appointment. Obviously this did not happen. Nor was I contacted. I spoke to another customer service rep to get some in touch with a manager or decision maker. I was only given the voicemail to Aleks, Because everyone was in a meeting. So, still getting the run around and lies about different different departments and location taking over for others. Different location and story each time. No resolution or contact from anyone that can help yet!

I had two service techs come to my house and they did absolutely nothing. The first tech said it was too warm now and to concat the company next winter, so I did. When the second tech came, he said I'll return with "plugs". Your email message states -- "At Milgard we pride ourselves on taking great care of our customers, so please let us know how we did!" ... Yeah right.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Replacement glazing The "replacement" of our defective windows was a total debacle. Out of the three replacements, only one went in. One did not make it on the truck for replacement. The third was 1" too big to fit opening. I was told by the installers that they are in the are Mon. and Wed.and could install the other items on one of those "free" days. Milgard sent an e-mail saying installtion would be May 23. Service is not what I received. I would not recomend this product based on it's "service"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor slow service/Poorly working windows I bought 7 windows and upon installation all of them go up and down crooked and won't stay up. They are all extremely loose in the frame and do not work at all like the windows on display at various dealers in my area. This is very misleading to customers. They talk about how great their warranty is but that is if you can get service. My brand new windows have been scheduled for service several months after purchase. They can't tell me what they are going to fix even though I had the Milgard tech look at them and even had the window dealer who sold me the windows send in reports to Milgard. Milgard never called me on two service requests - I had to call them. Even when I called them they said they would look into my claim. I paid a lot of money for what I believed was an upgrade in windows from the builders grade that was originally installed in my home - Well, my cheap builders grade windows work better than the Milgard windows. The"Builder/Contractor Terms and Conditions of Sale" indicates that "Lead Times" for Service Requests is 10 days not a couple of months. This doesn't show well for Milgard and is embarrassing to me when acquaintances visit my home remodeling project and comment on the slouching and poorly working windows, even my contractor is disappointed in the operation of the Milgard windows. Milgard is quick to collect the cost of their products but providing service takes a back seat. My entire area has only one Milgard service representative and he covers at least 2 cities.

The technician was great but Milgards service and urgency to help me is poor. The technician said I would receive a call within a couple of days with a new appointment but it has been a week and no call! Went on line to try and create a service request and was unable to complete the request.

He was professional, very pleasant, educated me on how the door worked and why there was an issue. He also provided excellent tips to maintain the door in good working order. By far, this was the best service call we have had, including any other company in our recollection.
