Our unique Full Lifetime Warranty is clear, easy to understand and comes with the best support in the industry. We’ll repair or replace any defect in materials or workmanship and will pay the costs of all parts and labor as long as the product purchaser is a homeowner.

Full Lifetime Warranty Details

  • Milgard will repair or replace any defect in materials or workmanship and will pay the costs of all parts and labor for as long as the purchaser owns his home.
  • This applies to residential products installed after 1/1/2012 in the U.S. and after 1/1/2011 in Canada. Some exclusions may apply.
  • Coverage extends 10 years from the install date of the original warranty to the successive owners, free of charge.

What products are covered?

  • The Milgard® Full Lifetime Warranty applies to windows and patio doors under the Tuscany® Series, Montecito® Series, Style Line® Series, Ultra™ Series, Essence Series® and Aluminum Series.
  • Glass Breakage Coverage is included on Tuscany® Series, Essence Series®, and Ultra™ Series products.
  • Moving Glass Wall Systems have a ten (10) year limited warranty.

How do I find my warranty?

  • Your Milgard Certified Dealer will provide you with a copy of your warranty completion of your window and patio door installation.
  • Be sure that you, or your Milgard Dealer, registers your warranty after the installation is complete so that we have your information on file if you ever need service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Milgard since 2005 Solid product, solid service. Installed since 2005, I have had two windows and a sliding door replaced (out of many). Replacing the glass is a breeze in the event of a leak/staining, easy to schedule. Despite the replacements, I would install Milgard in every entry way for all my homes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great service when it finally happened After waiting for months, our first replacement appointment was cancelled the night before because the replacement window panel arrived scratched. I appreciate that the installer checked it and ordered a replacement which finally came three months later. Our home has over 50 Milgard windows and we have only ever had a problem with one. Lifetime warranty is great, installers friendly and efficient. Just wish the lead time wasn't so long.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Window Service Call I had several windows that needed service. It took about a month from requesting the service until a Tech showed up. The Tech arrived on the date and time scheduled (about a 2 hr window). He contacted us by phone and showed up soon after. Service was quick and efficient. We had some windows in the kitchen being serviced and it would have been nice if he had something to place on the counter instead of just standing on the bare counter with his work shoes. Other than that things went smoothly. It took about 5 min a window once he started.

And the instructions on how to find numbers on windows were distorted and hard to read on windows and the service people explain how So good product, but mixed service

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Customer Service Milgard replace windows for our condos entire complex consisting of 42 units in 2011 or so. They had to come back out March or April 2018 to replace our living room window because it was trapping moisture inside the double pane that collected at the bottom where it was creating orange rust. They were back out last week because one of the stripping came undone. The techs were great but the customer service reps on the phones need more training in knowing terminology, what their techs actually do, and they should have all my information on hand with all the info they need to complete a service call and not tell me they are not responsible for the repair work I was requesting. Luckily another rep took over and immediately put my service order through.

Milgard was contacted by our installer and they responded in a very timely fashion, were professional, and on day of service call, called to inform me of when they would arrive. Oh yeah, they fixed the problem, explained everything, etc. Can't really ask for much more than that.

The company rep said, “we don’t do that; we will send someone out to just fix it.” Well, fix it they did! Quickly, efficiently. Now I can open my slider with my pinkie. And, the technicians checked our dining room windows and fixed those, too. I love this company and would definitely buy Milgard again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slow and Damaged I had my doors installed two months ago. They arrived with a screen door damaged and a door handle missing. The weather stripping was also torn and breaking in multiple places. The handle was just corrected last week, and installed with the wrong screws (it fell off two days later). I had to reattach it with my own (longer) screws. Still no replacment of the screen, and no visit on the damaged stripping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Milgard Full Lifetime Warranty Windows & Service Milgard Windows were installed in our home, which was constructed 2004. Two of the double-pane windows recently failed. Even though the windows carried a full lifetime warranty, I was expecting worse when I contacted them, but they just requested window measurements after confirming personal information. Very painless, indeed! The installers arrived at the scheduled time, but I had a family emergency, so instead of rescheduling the appointment, they offered to return after lunch. Of course, offer accepted. The windows were replaced and two other windows were serviced. The installers including the customer service representatives provided excellent service in a professional manner! Great job!

I'm so grateful for the Milgard contractor who told me about the warranty. Easy to upload photos and to provide information, great customer service and scheduling, and the repairs took under half an hour. Why did I wait so long?!

After an attempted break in, I was left with ashattered glass door. The Millard customer service representative on the phone was beyond helpful and was able to process my repair quickly. Plus the glass was covered under warrenty! The technician who came to replace my door glass was very professional, polite and personable. I am so glad I purchased Milgard and I will recommend them to anyone!

I am the operations manager at a national glass company and we have nothing but trouble trying to get the windows on time it is seriously ridiculous we are talking two months to get 2 essence series windows and almost lost the job sent us wrong mull parts and now we are a week in getting that part. Millard is lucky our customer is patient and understanding. This job was a nightmare
