Casement Windows

No obstructive railings, easy hand-crank open, and interior screens make these windows perfect for installation in virtually any area of the home.

A casement window is hinged at the side and opens outward like a door. It looks like a picture window because unlike double hung or sliding windows, a casement window has no rail. Some casement windows are simply pushed open, but most have a hand crank. Screens are placed on the inside of the window, where they're more protected from the elements. If you're installing windows over a sink, countertop or appliance, a casement window with a crank can be the perfect solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wood clad is beautiful window Installed 3 years ago the windows are still beautiful. The service has been both effective and prompt. The fiberglas frames still look new and the protection from weather is still rock solid. The ability to get both the wood clad and color finished fiberglas interiors with the same exterior frame color was a key choosing both Milgard and our window style. October 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by New Windows winter will determine quality Just installed, one of two came dinged and with blemishes, Will need extra sanding. October 9, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Window hardware alignment issues Purchased a casement window exactly one year ago. Arrived with defective seal which was replaced. Second and third service was to replace the seal. Fourth and fifth call was to fix an alignment hardware issue that just doesn't stay "fixed." After a few weeks the window won't latch to the frame hardware again. As a designer, I haven't had these issues before. The window was purchased for a masterbath renovation, the existing window worked fine, but didn't fit the modern design. We should have kept it, at least it worked. October 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great windows We wanted to replace our homes windows with a clean modern look. The milgard aluminum windows in dark bronze fit the look and they are designed to last many years of use. October 4, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the way the windows easily open. I love my Styleline casement windows, both regular and picture window. They're easy to open and close and I feel a sense of security having them in my home. September 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The windows give us such good air flow now!!! The windows AND doors we purchased are just great. They allow us to get so much more air into the house now and the heaviness of the doors is very reassuring. The casement windows are beautiful too. We had two types of tinting put on the windows and got the fabulous screens that make it look like there are no screens on the windows! So clear and pretty to look at. September 26, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful windows, but ... After installing five horizontal sliders as replacements three years ago and loving the fine wood grain look and the fit and finish, we purchased four additional windows for the front of the house in August. The first three I installed in our dining room bay were the quality I was expecting. But while unpacking the fourth for the kitchen, I was upset to see dings in the veneer finish near three of the ten point where the shipping liner (to protect the crank hardware) was attached. It looks like the person installing the liner was careless with their screwdriver. Also, there were gaps to the mitered interior corners. Noting the diagonal opposite corners gapped similarly, I measured the diagonals and found them nearly 1 inch different (52 1/2" vs 53 3/8"). So Milgard missed QC on this one. But I love the Woodclad windows. September 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product in the Tuscany Series. Once again, Milgard never ceases to please me. As I remodel each room, I replace all windows and order Milgards. Several times, dealers will try to talk me into a competitor brand that they say are just as good. But I've had so much luck over the years with Milgard, I truly don't mind paying a bit more, and in return I get a quality product. And the company still stays in business and builds the windows in the USA! I have done several remodel jobs as well as new construction. Milgard has been, and will continue to be my recommendation for windows. August 30, 2016
