If you want to build a long-lasting career that is rewarding, challenging and exciting, consider working at Milgard. Our team is comprised by amazing individuals with a passion for putting the customer first. We make an effort to create a workplace with a focus on diversity and inclusion that welcomes fresh ideas and creativity. Your ability to contribute to strategic growth in a collaborative environment is highly coveted.
As Gary Milgard emphasized from the beginning, and we maintain to this day, our employees are our most important asset. At Milgard, we believe our success as the premiere windows brand in the Western U.S. stems not just from our financials, but also from our adherence to nonfinancial metrics such as service, quality, safety and sustainability. Milgard provides competitive benefits, programs and resources for our employees and their families. We couple our benefits with learning opportunities to build a career at the company for the long-term.
Learn How Milgard Gets Involved in the Community
Carol Milgard started the Milgard volunteer and giving program which became known as MG/CAT. It was created so Milgard employees could actively give back to the communities in which they live and work.
MG/CAT transitioned to the MI Foundation in 2020. The MI Foundation offers a variety of ways for employees to get involved in the charities they are passionate about supporting. Each Milgard location has designated committee members who help organize monthly events and projects. These events encourage employee participation, and each event benefits a local community charitable organization. Team members are eligible for up to 16 hours per year of paid time off to provide volunteer service to qualified organizations. In addition, the MI Foundation provides funding and support for local and national charitable organizations as well as our own team members.
The MI Foundation
It started with small gestures from one team member to another and grassroots giving efforts that provided support in times of need. That care and concern for others helped us realize that we could do more, and in 2015, the MI Charitable Foundation was born. From fundraising and volunteer events to local outreach, our team members are empowered to support charities they are passionate about, and the result has been rapid growth (and rapid giving) that continues to humble and inspire us.
On a national level, the MI Foundation partners with several organizations that support three noteworthy causes: veteran’s affairs, child wellbeing, and cancer at large with a particular focus on pediatric cancer.
Giving back is part of our culture.
