Milgard Donates $10,000 to Tacoma Rescue Mission

Milgard Windows & Doors team members volunteered their time and presented a $10,000 check to the Tacoma Rescue Mission this week. Milgard team members have a long tradition of volunteering time and donating money to the Tacoma Rescue Mission, an organization that provides emergency services to community members in need.

“We were so pleased to present this donation to the Tacoma Rescue Mission,” said Tim Large, Pricing Manager and philanthropic committee member at Milgard Windows & Doors. “We know that this money will go a long way towards supporting the local community.”

Throughout November, the MI Foundation donated a total of $10,000 to 10 different food banks across the country (for a total of $100,000), funding more than 600,000 meals. The money for this donation was raised through the Foundation’s Virtual Charity Golf Outing in October.
