Grand Prairie, Texas (May 7th 2015) – Milgard Windows & Doors recently launched Clay as a new standard vinyl color for the Texas market. Clay is now available for Tuscany® Series, Montecito® Series and Style Line® Series windows and patio doors.
Milgard had been testing and developing Clay over the past 18 months in response to consumer requests for a standard color specific for Texas style trends and architecture.
“Clay is a nice addition to the standard color palette of Milgard vinyl products and will complement the brick and natural stone exteriors prevalent in the Texas market,” said Brett Berridge, Texas sales representative at Milgard.
As with white and tan standard colors, Clay colored vinyl is extruded from clay colored raw material, giving the window and door frame color throughout without the need for painting.
Clay is only available on products ordered through Milgard’s Texas manufacturing plant and does not require extended lead times.
Milgard first entered the Texas market in 2010 and opened its first Texas manufacturing plant this month.
