How to install exterior French doors?

While we do not recommend installing these doors on your own, if you wish to do this you must first remove the old doors then clean the space and make sure your opening is square. after that install the frame of the door and follow all directions to complete this step as well as installing the glass, finally apply a layer of caulk to seal from gaps around the door.

How do you clean swinging doors?

Cleaning a swinging door is very easy. first make sure to use a vacuum to suck out the dirt and debris in the area, then clean the frame and all the surrounding surfaces of the door. Finally, use a safe no abrasive rag and glass cleaner to clean the glass of fingerprints and other marks on the panes themselves.

Why are they called swinging doors?

These types of doors earned their name based on how they open. Where most glass doors will slide along a track, swinging doors will open either to the operator or away from them to allow entry into the intended space. These type of doors ack more like a standard front door or bedroom door then a normal patio door will.
