casement windows

Casement Windows

No obstructive railings, easy hand-crank open, and interior screens make these windows perfect for installation in virtually any area of the home.

Casement Window

A casement window is hinged at the side and opens outward like a door. It looks like a picture window because unlike double hung or sliding windows, a casement window has no rail. Some casement windows are simply pushed open, but most have a hand crank. Screens are placed on the inside of the window, where they're more protected from the elements. If you're installing windows over a sink, countertop or appliance, a casement window with a crank can be the perfect solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product after 10 years. A seal went which is not alarming but nice to have it covered under warranty. Martin was on time and very efficient. Window was replaced in 20 minutes or less. Cleaned and installed the window and didn’t leave till I approved. Love the Milgard products and the lifetime warranty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good looking Windows I wanted to replace my original windows. I have a 1945 house with the original windows that open to the outside, I loved the windows but they were to thin and could hear a “cat walking outside”:) we decided to replaced them. I research and the wooden windows were just too expensive. i visited G.T. Buildings Supply Inc. and I was given a lot of informacion of the windows, material and prices. We decided to go for the Milgard Tuscany Series. Great Windows (5), now everything is quiet. The windows resemble the old ones wihout the price. The also open to the outside, I am very immpressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from $$$$ The windows seem great but the cost was quite high and the installation was really expensive, WOW! Even with a general contractor being used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Window is nice Unfortunately I had to wait about two months to receive the window, which was special made to fit the specifications for our needs. I was told that Milgard was updating computer system and that was the reason for the delay. When the window arrived, the wood casement was broken. Rather than send the window back and wait for another window to be sent, my contractor fixed the wood and subsequently installed the window. The window is nice, but not happy about the fact that no quality control appears to have been in place to inspect the window and attached wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SLOW and POOR Service Service is VERY VERY SLOW, taking forever. We have a cracked window and broken lock guard after the installation. We called to schedule service in Sept, and we got scheduled for Dec service date. The day before the service date, I got called to push the installation date to Jan because they didn't have the correct parts. Finally, they came out for the service, and the new glass shuttered during the installation. They had to put back the old glass (now with even more cracks). I called next day to schedule the service and was told now I'm looking at March service date. I ask if there is any way to expedite the service, all I got is "we are sorry, there is nothing we can do... " After all the phone call and tell them what happened, they are unable to schedule service date for me because they can't read the technician's notes.... Service like this is RIDICULOUS...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product Beautiful, well made quality windows. Slid into my new renovation space without a hitch. Will get Milgard to make replacement windows for the rest of the house. Highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blown out window inner pane blew out on 12/30/17 at 6:30 AM. Called local company that sells them and they said this was not covered under warranty. Said it was due to cold weather. I am almost 64 years old and have never had this happen. Poor quality in my opinion.
